Hundreds have written letters to the judge in the case explaining how the abuse left them suicidal, led to drug and alcohol addictions and years of therapy. But the court is blacking out some of the graphic details.
“It is graphic and terrifying and I have panic attacks,” said Tom Krumins, who says he was raped as a Scout. “This same message gets shared with the judge who then doesn't share the information publicly, that defeats the entire purpose. I want my story to be heard.”

In his first joint address to Congress, President Joe Biden identified white supremacy as a domestic terror threat that the country must remain vigilant against. usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
He also repeated his calls for Congress to pass measures to expand background checks for gun buyers and to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act.

"Pass it and save lives," Biden said.
Reinforcing his longstanding support of LGBTQ rights, Biden also urged Congress to pass a bill outlawing discrimination on the basis of sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.

"I hope Congress can get to my desk the Equality Act to protect the rights of LGBTQ Americans."
