In the past 3 years, I've 10X my income, lost 20kgs+, and became a father.
My wealth, health, and happiness level are way more than three years ago.
And interestingly I didn't set any GOAL for these achievements.
But how?
I'll explain.

I've done this method while struggling with my OCD and had serious problems with my willpower.
First, let me explain my problems with goals:
The Problems With Goals:
1. Goals have an endpoint.
This is why many people revert to their previous state after achieving a certain goal.
2. Goals rely on factors that we do not always have control over.
It’s a fact that reaching a G is not always possible regardless of effort
3. Goals rely on willpower and self-discipline.
Willpower is a muscle, like the muscles in your arms or legs, and it gets tired as it works harder.
During times when other parts of our lives deplete our supply of willpower, it can be easy to forget our goals.
So, what can you do instead of setting goals?
Have a Systematic Approach to life.
Shape beneficial HABITS.
Once formed, habits operate automatically.
The Benefits of Habits:
1. Habits are easy to complete.
Once we develop a habit, our brains actually change to make the behavior easier to complete.
After about 30 days of practice, enacting a habit becomes easier than not doing so.
2. Habits are for life.
Once a habit becomes ingrained, it can last for life (unless broken for some reason).
3. Habits can compound.
Duhigg calls these keystone habits.
For example, people who start exercising daily may end up eating better and drinking less.
4. Habits can be as small as necessary.
Once these become ingrained, the degree of complexity can be increased.
If you want to read more, you can start with 25 pages a day.
After this becomes part of your routine, you can increase the page count to reach your goal.
Why a Systematic Approach Works:
While goals rely on extrinsic motivation, habits are automatic. They literally rewire our brains.
By switching our focus from achieving specific goals to creating positive long-term habits, we can make continuous improvement a way of life.
(Cutting these things helped me boost my productivity.)

While most people try to become more productive by adding things, I’ve discovered it's far easier to start by subtracting what kills productivity in the first place.
If you’re ready to skyrocket your productivity to get more done than ever before, avoid these 7 specific habits:
1. Focusing on Minor Details, Not Results
Productivity is about how much you create and deliver; not just finishing busy work.
Don’t overfocus on minor details like having the perfect calendar. Measure your results and your work will improve.
