Specific to JeM, They use AK series plus Chinese or Pak 9mm pistols and hand grenade but few also carry M4, UBL, and RPG

but NOT a single case where Local terrorist (LT) or Foreign terrorist (FT) ever used a 30 bore pistol

To cross-check my knowledge i dialed 3 of my friends. An ATS officer, NIA officer, and one senior Army officer located on LoC and deal with FT and LT on daily basis. Everyone said 30 bore pistol is a local gun used by gangsters mainly to scare people.

30 bore pistol is used by tuccha political hitmen. Mostly found in UP and Bihar

So how come Delhi Police arrested a JeM man with a 30 bore pistol who came to kill a saffron loud mouth?

This guy caught with 30 bore pistol is just for the purpose of giving life and fame back to this loudmouth nothing else who lost it very fast after the Bengal election

They used a J&K man to give it a Muslim terrorist color which is the best method
