alright obviously someone asked so while im having coffee this morning i will explain how i talk about this with normal people and how i answer these questions. the person in question was trying to reason out what aliens are and reached the point of “hmm none of this makes sense”
so, first off, how much of this first part you do with normal people depends on the situation but it helps to pad your explanation with the reality that the mundane (as in purely physical) explanations dont make sense, in my opinion. something u can drive that home.
for example, this guy says, so what, the US military has spent millions investigating itself? (presumes they’re being honest but whatever). doesnt add up. also another nation had this tech in the 70s / 80s, doesnt add up. in his view. u can go through it with them.
if you watch some of these new UFO interview videos, one is in tag thread, the pilot says every day for years people saw these things just floating there. so, thats interesting also. even if we disregard everything else that’s a lot of time dedicated to... what? doesnt make sense
so its good to pad the pre-reveal with as much as you can about how a physical explanation doesnt add up, because that door is closed. that leaves the other option, that it is something not mundane, peoples minds will go to “so its actually aliens then...?”, obviously.
but that doesnt really add up either. these were the two questions this guy asked and then i guess ill weave in how i talk about this to normal people who dont usually ask such pointed questions. check it:
when talking about this with normal people i normally do weave in, yeah so, the idea that its visitors from other planets doesnt really add up either. right. they travel all this way here and have all this hyper tech just to accidentally get seen by some pilots? why?
well (this is exactly what i say and how i pad it), there is another explanation, which sounds crazy at first, it actually explains everything but its so unintuitive and counter to what we’re told about these things you would never make the connection, but afterwards its obvious.
all civilizations, cultures, all people, have recorded contact with strange beings, usually at night, we would typically call them demons or something. this is our cultures version of that universal phenomenon, whatever you think “that” is. we’re putting UFOs in the wrong folder.
for normal people i put a huge caveat here, i say, i dont know if you think demons are real or not, it doesnt really matter. [the experience] of people seeing and interacting with stuff like this is real, whatever you think it “actually is”. so i could rephrase what im saying as:
when you look back through history and cultures, whatever you think demons and the weird paranormal stuff is, this is our cultures version of that. this is an extension of the universal phenomenon of humans seeing and interacting with weird non physical stuff, basically.
i usually pad it and frame it like that because i do not want the person to leave with a backwards vector of causality here, thinking, well, that guy thinks demons are real, so (therefore) he thinks aliens are demons. because thats not how it works. its not “a” then “b” there.
so i have to pad it with, u know, even if ur an atheist and think all that stuff is fake, this is still the best explanation. those two phenomena, whatever [you] think they “actually” are, are related. theyre an extension of each other, they are the same thing in different times.
of course i will say that i think there is a reality to it, that there are some kind of dark forces at play that enjoy messing with humans, to put it lightly, and that makes all of this make perfect sense. i also like to slip in the talking point that once you realize [...]
that they arent literally physical metal ships, their behavior also makes sense. thats why no one can catch them. thats why they can do “impossible” maneuvers. its not literally a big metal ship. youre looking at something that is supraphysical. its not a big metal object.
anyway, that makes these two questions extremely easy to answer, which although normal people wont usually ask directly, they will be asking themselves, in a way, at some point:
1. because their intention is to be seen. they want to be seen. thats the whole point. youre not seeing something that has been accidentally viewed, youre seeing something that is intentionally showing itself to you. this isnt confusing at all once you have this answer.
2. they are “doing it”. their intention is to be seen. that is what they are doing.

(most people dont know about documented abduction stuff and its such a can of worms going into it, its not 1000% necessary for a casual conversation, although its more evidence.)
all questions about “why would they...” or “how could it...”, like that, totally fall into place when you realize that you are seeing a supraphysical phenomenon that is intentionally revealing itself. but its so counter to “the narrative” 99% of people would never think of this
from here the question is naturally, okay but why? the short answer here is that its a variety of reasons. demons famously delight in causing vexation. confusion. basically messing with people. so the fact that it “doesnt add up” (like many UFO encounters) is part of the point.
i dont mean “doesnt add up” as in, theres no answer, thats the answer, that would be a copout. what i mean is that most people would find this whole phenomenon extremely vexing, and they do. thats part of the intentional effect because they usually cant explain what theyre seeing
thats slightly passing the buck down from the real larger explanation which is that these things, this phenomenon, is being intentionally used to shift the consciousness and framework of the society slowly over time. which it is doing, very effectively.
with normal people if im just planting the seed i usually wont make the en toto full cohesive connection of, basically, “because space stuff and aliens is subtextually intrinsically linked to what we might call “a post christian worldview” because its a lot, but that is [it].
however you can casually demonstrate this because in general “space stuff”, aliens being real, are kind of obviously connected to this feeling of traditional religion being outdated, over, something we have moved past. if someone is christian i will explain this part though.
most people are familiar with the common thought experiment of, “what would happen to religions if we found aliens?”, things like that. the implication which is accepted outright is that aliens existing would be “an issue” for religions. well, consider that. that gives it away.
in most peoples minds, the vector of “space age, UFOs, the cosmos, contacting aliens” is diametrically opposed to “believing in traditional religion, specifically the bible + christianity”. i think most people can sense that. they seem like two roads going in opposite directions.
thats kind of because they are, not in the sense that the reality of those things oppose christianity, but because those things are used as part of the bedrock for what seraphim rose calls “the religion of the future”.
thats how i talk about this w normal people. i pad it really hard on the “this explanation is the best, the others dont work, regardless of your worldview, i thought this before becoming christian” because i dont want them to think the arrow is “im christian” so “theyre demons”
if u want to go deeper into this read orthodoxy and the religion of the future by seraphim rose. theres one long chapter about this, theres an audiobook of it on youtube, other people realized theyre demonic but he put it all together in such a cohesive way its insane. thats it.
oh yeah btw the whole point of this was that since theyve been pumping UFO stuff + even releasing vids u have to assume theres a reason why theyre doing that so a critical mass of people really need to realize this ASAP before the “big thing” happens so tell everyone u can thanks

i will explain a dichotomy in terms of two paths for reasoning about psychedelics here that i essentially never see explicated. once you see and understand it you will understand this type of “reasoning” a lot more (i tried to explain this to mike, he never responded). [...]
i just woke up and am having coffee. presumably there will be typos. good morning. did you sleep well. apparently no one is.

anyway when DMT was becoming more popular in our culture, more people were doing it, of course naturally people wanted to discuss it and explain it, right
we are going to characterize the default “type of” explanation as the machine elf explanation. this is more of a meta look at it, + that (if youre familiar with it, if not i’ll explain) is just the perfect example. if youre unfamiliar, lets zoom in on one aspect of the experience

fascinating use of language here (seems to be what theyre going with) because “or” semiotically signals a choice (chicken or steak), but the “until” implies there is no choice in the sense of choosing an outcome, you just have the option of delaying an inevitable endpoint.
the “or” isnt a natural choice of wording here. it actually doesnt even make sense semantically. no one would ever speak this way in real life. “i want u to come to my house next week and call me every day until you do” makes sense. naturally you would intuitively use “and” there
you would never say “come to my house or call me every day until you do”. or a much better example, get your oil changed at 5,000 miles and check it periodically until you do. thats clear. what does “get your oil changed at 5,000 miles or check it periodically until you do” mean?

alRight one more meta note before i get back in the swing of things. i got (obtained) the new spot. it was crazy. if youve been waiting for me to get back to you about something or sent me something, my bad, been kinda out of the office last week, gonna hit that today. also [...]
thinking it would be kinda tight to have a nu-dads / proto-dads group chat on here. does that exist. if not comment here or dm me and ill add you and we can get it going. obviously i have no other insane people IRL to discuss pregnancy + birth in and outs with [...]
gonna walk my dog and then probably delete this tweet as it relates slightly to pErsonAl inFo so hmu and we can get it going and add people slowly, maybe, i guess. also gm.

[warning i have 3 brain cells rn after not sleeping last night, typos etc]. a long time ago i made this thread about some “simple” questions i had about christianity, denominations, things therein. its interesting looking back on it bc now i would never ask these questions [..]
as ive gone deeper (or tried to) into figuring things out, i have a whole new stack of questions that i think generally fall into “sounds dumb but is actually somewhat essential”. as my thing is art making and figuring things out, i dont need to pretend to know anything [...]
so im happy to be the one to ask the questions that may make one seem unlearned, as im sure many other people want to know, or other people who actually know can tell us, or we can spark some interesting discussion. so, just gonna post them in this thread. lets go. theologica.

1000% convinced this was some type of op or something. in the suburbs there was [one] empty house lot with trees and we found porn there when i was a kid. its not random / part of a spontaneously originating phenomenon in the traditional sense.
some people are probably like “what” but its an oddly common thing people only realized was oddly common after discussing it online. no explanation without some level of intention for people (kids) to find this stuff makes any sense
yeah. idk exactly the mechanism but its not that hard to imagine a huge stack of unsold magazines or old ones or something + someone getting the idea to pay someone to hide them in wooded areas where kids would find them. sounds a little crazy but its a super common experience
