I'm going to attempt to watch the Moms For Liberty CRT 101 event on their Livestream & tweet some thoughts. I'll probably pause a lot so that I can take good notes, so my tweets might not be truly live. #wcsb
They've had the Livestream up early, playing a mix of the propaganda videos they have on their website, and Fox News clips about CRT.
They are now showing the Brain Pop video they find offensive.
@WCS removed Brainpop from student access after complaints. WCS was concerned that there were videos that said they should be watched with an adult and decided it was best to keep Brain Pop only on teacher computers.
Now they are playing this Brain Pop.
And now this one.
Now they are showing a video from a Loudoun Co Va School Board Meeting. It seems to be people reading offensive passages from books. None of them sound familiar.
I'm now watching a screensaver. Assuming it will go live soon.
First up, Cathy Harms (sp?) will lead them in prayer. She prays for the children and asks for clarity and wisdom to educate the children. She prays for hearts to open. "The truth shall set you free." "We ask for your wisdom and clarity. Amen"
Someone speaking (didn't hear introduction) wants to answer the questions "What is CRT", "How is it harmful to children" and "Is it being taught at @WCS?" If it is being taught, we hope you will do something about it and we will go over what that is.
The first speaker up - producer Robby Starbuck - she's talking about what he's produced.
Now she's talking about Robby Starbuck being a Cuban refugee and how he was changed by how Cuba was affected by "leftism" and he wants to stand up and prevent that in the US.
Robby Starbuck talks about how it's brave to be here, because we've been told if you even stand up against something like this, then there is something wrong with you. "The goal of CRT is marxism."
"One of the chief architects to CRT is @DrIbram. Quotes @DrIbram on capitalism. Then he talks about redistributing wealth and how that's what his family fled in Cuba. Cuba - not enough people to stand up and say that's wrong.
He says 75% of American parents oppose CRT. Now he's talking about a family that fled "The People's Republic of California."
Talks about a speaker coming to his daughters school and telling them they have white privilege and that they can't sit without a minority present because that's racism. He said the speaker was Antifa. This caused him to move to TN "as any good parent would. "
Says Universities teach us to hate fundamental American Values. Then those teachers teach that University ideologies to your children. Says it should scare us what we don't know about our teachers.
Talks about that, along with media work together to destroy a child's mind. He's now explaining what @brainpop is. Says it was great at first but was a bait & switch. Says brain pop is pushing CRT now.
He's encouraging parents to take stock in what kids consume.
Now says in TN his child of Latino descent went to school and told him he had to refer to Latinos as "Latin-X". Goes on to explain how that is a gender nonspecific term for Latinos. (Sorry if I spelled that incorrectly."
He says this has nothing to do with racial equality but has to do with control and Marxism. Marxist start by dividing by race to attack a country's unity. Says we've moved so far from the dream of MLK that you can't see it anymore.
Wants to teach kids to be judged for character, not outside. "We are the last defense for our children. I trust parents to make decisions...not a school district and not a teachers union."
Not just a public school problem. NIAS private school organization - conferences called "No more white boys behaving badly" "No More White tears." Says teachers in our county went to this.
Now talks about CRT legislation and says it doesn't have teeth - wants a board of parents to be in charge of reporting and deciding on issues.
Now he's talking about "gender issues" and let him know if there are issues so he can help "expose those issues."
2022 we are having school board elections and we need you to get involved, ask candidates about CRT, Marxisms, and how they define racism. Can racism be experienced by anyone? Are you supportive are teaching about Marxist atrocities school?
Reading a quote by Standford candidate for school board. Said "White people need to be eradicated." Says Stanford and other Universities have been taken over by radicals.
Now he wants them to get behind School Choice - trust parents to make the best decisions about their child. "Money needs to follow the child."
Now he's quoting stats about Baltimore and the failure of schools there (missed the stats).
Repeat: School Choice and School Board Elections are critical. Do what other people failed to do during revolutions - ask hard questions.
Being here is a good sign you are ready to ask those questions. Thanks for being here. Too many people are afraid. "I'm ready to see you guys on the battlefield."
The woman I didn't catch the name for is about to introduce next speaker. Telling people they can sit.
The next speaker is Dr. Wenyuan Wu - executive director of the Californians for Equal Rights Foundation, a non-partisan and non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of equal rights. Dr. Wu taught CRT at the collegiate level and is considered an expert on the topic.
"What is CRT?" Long answer and short answer. Says CRT borrows from Marxism, radical feminism, post modernism.
She's reading a lot of words. Hard to follow. LOL
"CRT sees everything from a race-based perspective."
She's bashing @DrIbram and the 1619 document. Blah Blah. It's hard to follow her. Sorry. Something about 3rd graders being asked to identify their privilege.
Something about babies showing first signs of racism at 3 months of age and that racial bias is more prominent in white children. (Audience laughs).
"CRT masquerades as pleasant sound DEI training, antiracist initiatives, racial sensitivity, anti-bias training, etc. "
She's going on and on about other nicer ways to see CRT - calls it the CRT twilight zone. Oppressor vs. Victim - no place for personal choice, or empowerment.
Now she's talking about how much schools pay their DEI consultants.
Says this is often taxpayer-funded. Calls CRT proponents "snake oil salesmen." Says fighting CRT is a moral issue and claims it's a diverse initiative.
She encourages them to talk to their neighbors and ask if they support true equality and despise race-based discrimination. Ask if they have a problem teaching children America is inherently racist. Do you believe in American Dream?
While schools are embracing CRT, parents don't want them to teach slavery as the center of the national narrative....don't want kids taught that American's founding principals were wrong.
Many states including Tn have taken steps to stop CRT - encourages the audience to be involved in the enforcement by paying attention to kids materials, joining PTAs, write school boards, etc. Vote out those who try to indoctrinate instead of educate.
Now she's encouraging them to run for these school board positions themselves, on anti-CRT platforms.
I think she's now telling people they can sue for discrimination for their kids being exposed to CRT?
"The American idea that we should not be judged by race transcends this political trend.....our common destiny as Americans is greater than our hyphenated identies. Don't divide us."
Next we have a Williamson County Mom. She's very nervous. Apologizes that English is her second language. Usually she sings instead of talks. She came to US about 20 years ago. Became a citizen about 12 years ago.
She has two beautiful children and chose Williamson County for the school district. Difficult year. Decided to do online school because of family health issues. Oldest is independent, but 7 year old had hard time using computer, etc.
So she sat down to help him. The first semester was difficult. Struggled to navigate software. ELA began with a story about a lonely yellow leaf that couldn't fall like other leaves. It was boring. Did nothing to engage my child to read. (Audience Laughs)
Then boring story about Camiilian. Then the sad story about Buffalos. Indian girl had to sacrifice her doll to get rain. Another sad boring story. Couldn't get child to engage. Excited for Christmas break that school is over.
Hoping next semester better. Then it starts with wonderful story about Dr. King and his beautiful story about having a dream. That's the beautiful world he and I live in. Beautiful story that united people.
Then we learn about Ruby Bridges. We read in book picture of little black girl who walked through the school with three marshals. In front of the schools, there was this angy white mob holding sign calling names. (Speaker sounds emotional)
We had to focus on angry white mob for weeks. Heard teacher ask son "how would you feel if you went to school like that." Son replied "I would be happy and cool because I went to school with three hit men." (Laughs)
Teacher pushes again, what do you think Ruby felt? I thought it was funny that he was so innocent...no evil and no color. Studied over and over again how evil white people mistreated black people.
It was hard to keep him engaged. It was very sad. She tried to teach him he's American. He shook his head and said "I'm not American...I'm Thai." He asked what color is he and what is he. She says they never had that issue before.
Her final straw was when they had to read a book about 4 black kids who couldn't eat at a restaurant because they were black. My kid was sad. Asked why people did that to them. She kept asking if her son was too sensitive or if the other kids felt the same way.
She decided to write principal about Wit & Wisdom being too dark and depressing for 7-year-old to learn. Principal calls her next day and assured she'd look into it.
A week later they are still learning about "evil white people." Then read book about a fireman who sprayed young children who wanted to go shopping.
Sent another email to the Principal that it needs to stop. Kept thinking it would be the last day. Didn't hear from and decided to find new school for her son, where he will go next year.
Started talking to friends, and found out lots of kids said story was boring and it was all about "black and white". Decided to write a letter to school board to demand them to stop this curriculum.
Now she's talking about "Separate is never equal" which I linked to above. Complaining that they spent 9 weeks talking about civil rights.
Then she was reading to her son about George Washington. Her son said "George Washington was a lucky white man." then pointed to her own skin and asked if they would kill him if he was born back then.
"In his world, he was color blind and those 9 weeks has destroyed his world and his identity. He's ashamed to be half white. "
She's not saying we shouldn't learn about it when we are older - the history is important. But wants little ones to have a beautiful story about working together. "We have come so far." (Audience Claps)
She wants to give them a better world...not ugly and hate. "I love this country. Don't want my kid to grow up and be ashamed of who he is."
Says Wit & Wisdom only focuses on race and division. Wants her kid to be colorblind. "He doesn't need to be guilty about his skin."
Says she has covered everything. Audience hoots and hollers.
"I love America. This is my home." (Said in her native language and then English)
Moderator says people should read and submit to Dear Mr. Golden Instagram page.
Next speaker is Dr. Beth Meyers, independent research consultant and education advocate, who will address Wit and Wisdom (WCS K-5 curriculum, adopted last year). Something about a private school in Louisiana.
Dr. Beth Meyers recommends Dr. Morrel for learning about CRT.
"Things started happening in my classroom and I didn't know where it was coming from. Because I was a student of Soviet history, I saw startling similarities. Like the others talked about connections to Marxism.
She's mainly reading that slide and talking about the dangers of common core, which seems so 2014 so I'm get to breath for a second.
Now she's claiming that "leveling the playing field" means shaving off the part that is higher.
Says she was one of 50 people selected to go to Japan for 2-week education study to view schools, including Toyota high school....teaching kids how to move into automotive positions.
Lady asked her through translator who called her a "Sensai" and gave her more respect as a teacher than she got from country she lived in.
Her next slide. Using education to change the way people thought.
Says we keep hearing about a "national education system" and how far the decision-making would be away from you. "they say they want a social revolution."
Says they only gave her exerts of John Dewy and thought it was fine at first. Until she read he said "Home and the church influence needed to be overturned."
Something about molding children to be Russians. They say "Don't you want your child to be nice and learn about slavery?" (Said in mocking voice). Says it an agenda for Socialist America and led to an agenda for text books.
Warns that this is all happening "in America".
"Feels like I"m reading Socialist history again. This is America." (Says Robby Starbuck and Dr. Wenyuan Wu both covered this as well. )
Says Critical theory is critical to the extreme...constantly and relentlessly. (That kind of sounds like me right now. I'll own it.)
Read in a newspaper article about automatic soap dispensers are racist. (Audience laughs). She asks "was it racist of thoughtless? There is a difference."
She says according to CRT "a white person is never righteous." Fourth one is key because that's where education falls. "Knowledge is socially constructed."
She says the problem is that "there is no objective truth." Warns that teachers are being taught from this book, so you should read it.
Now she's saying CRT means it will never get better because they are always looking for a problem. "Diversity Training is about a 10 billion dollar industry now." Talks about how they are making bank on this.
Talks about the legislation and how the definitions define the bill... how the definition of CRT is a moving target.
No research to show a set of standards is correlated to achievement. "Standards don't increase student achievement by themselves." (She's still mad about common core. )
"If you need a set of standards to do your job as a teacher, get out of the classroom....I'm not condemning teachers but we need to get real."
Now she's saying something about "what happened in Parkland FL" not sure her point.
"When they say 'equity' make them define it...different than equality."
"Thing about soviets...they were tiring to change "mindsets"...where have you heard that...'growth mindset'.
She doesn't want the doctor to "socially construct her appendix."
Says this is concerning Wit & Wisdom curriculum.
Emotions...story about a cat dying. "Do you notice a pattern?"
She explains what an anchor text is and how if you take your kid out of one book, they will miss a big chunk of the lesson. This one talks about Galileo...
Goes on about how all these lessons say he was punished..punished by the church...the stars left his eyes.
She asks after all these assignments...what do the kids know about Galileo? Why this?
Now she's mad they are taught "Indians good, Settlers bad."
Now talking about "George vs George".
In closing, Dr. Beth Meyers says this is what the soviets went after.
One more speaker, Dr. Gary Thompson, doctor of clinical and forensic psychology and co-founder of Early Life Child Psychology, who will address the psychological effects that CRT has on the minds of children. He has 6 biracial children.
Dr. Gary Thompson - first time he has set foot in southern soil. Audience cheers. "If you listen to CNN, Rachel Maddow or the like, says leftist friends were concerned about his safety. But he walks on stage and no one is wearing KKK hoods.
"You all are the most friendly white supremacist I've ever met.' (Audience laughs)
Says when Amygdala is activated you lose rational thought. "That is how crazy happens." "You can probably save your marriage just by remembering this."
Activist in my own hometown, our president of BLM has pretty stronghold over the educational system. She is basically leader of these education reforms. Playing a clip from her to give an idea what he's dealing with.
Dr. Gary Thompson's neighbor spoke about CRT and Ms. Scott with BLM said they were coming for her. (Technical difficulty playing Youtube video.)
(I believe he's trying to play this video but they told him to move on.)
"CRT is the biggest psychological Jedi mind trick ever placed on American soil." - Dr. Gary Thompson
(Now he's reading from an iPad that doesn't seem to be working.) Jokes "I hope you didn't pay these guys much money."
Tech guy is back again. Audience laughs. He jokes "I thought marijuana was illegal here."
The audience is making jokes about tech difficulties. I can't quite hear them. This is awkward.
Now he's talking about an email he got...writer said you were spot on about everything about them using our children to collect data via high stakes testing." He ran on platform "Above all else, do no harm".
"That includes CRT - find out if there is a possibility that it harms some kids and be open about it with parents."
Now he walks off stage mumbling about firings someone and I am viewing a screensaver.
Moderator comes and says something about microphone issue and then plugs Ellie's donuts. She likes cinnamon. Ellie's donuts is offering all proceeds towards this event. We also have Mojos.
🎶 I'm jamming to the screensaver. Moderator just came and said 3-minute break...get your donuts.
Dr. Gary Thompson is welcomed back to the stage. He says all he had to do was go back there and say "Hey, bros....I thought Black Live's Matter??"
He's now showing this YouTube video of a BLM rep going against his neighbor who opposed CRT.
He says that's an example of an amygdala meltdown.
Now he's on to the "theoretical foundations of CRT." #1: Racism is assumed, and it's part of the "Jedi mind trick." #2 It cannot be debated. #3. There can be no self-criticism. #4 You are oppressed if you are black & you are the oppressor if you are white.
#5 - takes a dim view of religion and patriarchy...viewed as part of the "systemic problem" within white culture.
He attended Coca-Cola Robin DiAngelo's seminar on confronting racism...understanding what it means to be white.
"I'm going to stop right there. I think I'm looking at about 200 white people...assuming you have about 40 years of experience with being white but you had to hear this in a seminar from Robin DiAngelo....TRY TO BE LESS WHITE.
Someone in the audience says "that's racist." He plays another clip about black people taking on a "victim mentality".
One thing he does like about CRT.... As an example he will go through his families narrative.
Now he's playing a Charles Barkley video on media trying to make black and white people, not like each other. He says Chuck believes that and "so do my mom and dad." shows pics of his family.
Says his father was one of first black doctors to graduate from Meharry.
Another family story from him: Shortly before graduation my parents got married and experienced the riots. My dad was going up to Meharry, he had to sit in the back of the bus, and in the front of the bus were people he was going to operate on.
Says his mom is extremely religious and his family legacy is peace and love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dad passed away 7 months ago...an agnostic scientist and they just work. My father did not believe in victimhood. ...sat on back of bus and still did not become victim.
Says he wanted to come back to feel his dad's spirit here. His wife, Dr. Francis Thompons, one of the most talented pediatric neurophyscologist in the US. "It kills me that she is being called a white supremacist or is systemically racist."
(If it's not clear so far, Dr. Gary Thompson is a black man, and his wife, whose picture he shows, is white.)
Says he voted for Barack Obama "back then" and his family is very diverse. This is why he's up here...not because he's a democrat, or a republican or an activist..."I am a father."
"CRT will destroy my biracial children."....told one side is broken. That's why I'm here. (Audience claps)
Wants to talk about implicit and unconscious bias. Means you don't know...I don't know if a racist because I can't read your mind.
There is a test but it's not ready.
"What's wrong with CRT?"
Wants to talk about shame in public schools. "Imagine being 11 and it's implied that our mom & dad are systemically broken...your grandparents were slave owners and because of them I can't get a job and because of that, your bad."
More quotes about shame and guilt. Says shame and guilt are related to PTSD.
"Shame brings on anxiety which can bring on major depressive orders and those are the basis for suicidal ideation." He's trying to draw a link between shame brought on by CRT and teen suicide.
More words.
"I'm a doctor..I don't care what you BELIEVE. I care what you KNOW. Don't bring anything before my children that you BELIEVE....CRT is not a theory and I will not call it that...I call it Critical Race Agenda."
"Because above all else, first, do no harm with our kids."
Says it's clear that the requirement is that our kids become social justice warriors. They want our children to go out into internships to do social justice warrior activities.
"Much closer to home, you folks have hired Fostering Healthy Solutions." (Audience yells "we didn't") He corrects and says "the Williamson County board."
"What I do like about this, is that they did not focus this on white people, because everyone has bias." He says he reviewed their website and listened to podcast. "Didn't find anything crazy and was impressed with how slow they are going with this."
"You need to watch it and make sure they don't go towards CRT." "The board works for you." (Audience claps)
"There is a price I pay for speaking for this...the Washington Post and woke media has figured me out. I couldn't be more visible than speaking to all these white people.
"Has anything come out of my mouth that is anti-black?" (Audience says no) " It's condescending the way the media treats black conservatives."
Shows clip of John McWhorter talking about white fragility.
"Bottom Line - the end result is ...
"CRT is taking us to segregation again. It wasn't fun for my parents and I can't imagine it would be fun for any of you folks. That is not the legacy (tears up) my parents left me, and that is not the legacy I'm going to leave for my children."
I just want to close with message to my kids.... you have the right to pave your own racial journey....I will always love you...you don't have to please anyone.
"I want to thank each of you...feel such a powerful spirit. The thought of having any of you take a knee for me, disgusts me." (Audience cheers.)
"Of all the caucasian people who have nurtured me, from coaches to neighbors there when we miscarried...there was no talk of black and white, or systemic racism. the only talk was love, and I want to thank you all for the love you showed me. thank you."
Moderator asks for a round of applause for speakers. Now introduces her as a mom of 3 and chair of Moms For Liberty Williamson County. "We are six weeks old. Thanks to all moms and dads who pulled this off in 16 days."
"If you find value in what we've done, please volunteer to help pay for it. "
"Today we've heard compelling testimonies, I won't tell you what conclusions to make because we are all free thinkers and I welcome diversity of thought, but if you think CRT is bad for your child, what can you do about it?"
Says CRT is a three-legged stool and if you have all three legs, it's pretty solid. In WCS we have two legs...activist teachers and curriculum. The third leg is a DEI plan, that comes in over the top as policy and that's one of the things were are trying to stop.
Stop the DEI plan, get rid of the curriculum and the third leg will take care of itself with anti-bullying policy. Urges them to contact leaders...
Encourages them to show up. "The next three weeks are pretty crucial." "School board is revisiting curriculum in June...you need to be there. In the meantime email. That's email, show up, and the hardest one is speak up.
Says in today's culture it's hard to do because you'll be called a racist. "The more people that stand up, the more strength you have in numbers...fighting for common cause of our children. No better cause than that. "
Says she was in Airforce & has jumped out of airplanes and prefers that to public speaking. Saw her son playing with cord, so put it in her purse because it reminded her of airborne school. Some stuff about cord and synergy and being stronger together. She's just one thread.
The end. (People hooting and hollering) Oh crap, there is a Q&A panel.
Question from someone who was just walking by and found the conference. Doesn't really understand CRT. What is biggest gripe and why are people upset.
Robby Starbuck says it's the idea that everyone who is white is racist. "This isn't simply trying to find racial equality. They use words that should be positive, like diversity, inclusion, to bring in a curriculum that is anti-capitalist and racist.
RB says he was in gifted program as child and graduated at 16. Says it wasn't because he was Latino but now they are getting rid of that program because they say it's racist because there are too many Asians. He thinks programs like that should be entirely decided by merit.
Says when he was there it was about the people who were working the hardest. Now kids won't have that opportunity. He says he wouldn't be standing here without that program.
(Questioner says he still doesn't understand CRT). Robby Starbuck says we should be friends because we like each other and not because your black and I'm latino. He seems to think CRT is teaching children to have friend quotas.
Robby Starbuck is bashing @DrIbram again.
Black man in the audience still terribly confused but super friendly. He just moved here. Someone needs to take him to a different party.
Q from Shawn Buhanan from Tipton county who drove from close to Memphis. Says he's not being given curriculum for CRT unless they sign a confidentiality agreement. Can you help us.
Robby Starbuck asks if Gary Humble is in the audience (of course he is). Robby Starbuck says "Well Gary will sue almost anybody." (Audience laughs. Fact check: This is true.)
Dr. Beth Meyers suggests looking into laws in place that require them to show you the curriculum. (Questioner is showing a document)
Dr. Beth Meyers is offering her business card. Says there was a federal grant TN went after that she reviewed. That Grant has pretty much everyone who were authors or promoters of common core. Already had woven through it who would get grant.
She says grant mentions quality curriculum....tells you they are getting that from 2 places: Ed Report..she says Ed Reports job was common core.2nd place was Lousiana Dept of Education where she just came from...who has lowest ACT score in history.
I'm not really following her but she seems to be blaming Wit & Wisdom with Louisianas poor education scores and somehow that has something to to do with the grant she's talking about.
The immigrant speaker has a warning for America. Says she never saw color until 8th grade. Something about Apartheid. She's warning about the curriculum that doesn't work. Says there will be signs that "Whites should not apply."
*Admitedly fast-forwarding a little because I'm behind due to pausing. Now Robby Starbuck talking about gender. "Californias taught on a gingerbread man that you can be any gender you want. That's what comes next is the gender push."
Some guy from franklin taught about poor traumatized 7-year-old white child and reverse racism. says he's a proponent of independent thinking. Says he should be able to think independently about race. Something about falsely educating kids.
Now he's talking about Chip calling the confederate soldiers champions even though they lost the war. Says there is a counter side of teaching false history. "Can we not go on the other side to get our kids thinking about the damage done?"
"IF acknowledging a fact of history makes someone feel shame for their history..." Robby Starbuck interrupts and says kids should be taught history but that's not CRT.
The questioner says he didn't define CRT as history. Dr. Beth Meyers jumps in and now going to circle about what the word critical means.
OK, I'm life now so I can't fast forward anymore. The questioner says he was in favor of positive things. Says something about Christopher Columbus and deal with facts.
Dr. Beth Meyers says we should read primary documents instead of what someone says about something. The questioner says he's a critical thinker because he wants a dialogue.
Question for Dr. Beth Meyers - thanks for the overheads about soviets. Wants to know if they are on the website. She says she's not big enough for a website. She says she'll email him.
The questioner asks if laws about showing curriculum to parents apply to private schools. Dr. Beth Meyers says no.
Questioner asks Robby Starbuck to clarify NAIS's relationship to private schools. He says it's their accreditation. Now he's ranting about gendered language again. nais.org/about/
Questioner says she loves Dear Mr. Goodman letters (what???). Loves hearing from the immigrant. Hearing from the doctor talked about PTSD. I want to tell you I'm an actual product of that. She says that the environment affects you your entire life.
Questioner named Chelsea says she pulled her children from public school ...talks about dyslexia and so does prison population. Thinks we don't spend enough money on reading. Concerned about DEI initiative. Wondered how much is that costing because money should be on reading.
So she found Moms For Liberty and learned more and asked the principal about issues with race because she doesn't think there is a race problem. School says they did not plan on teaching CRT. What do you do now?
Then she says something about people talking only to minorities about scholarships. Robby Starbuck says any school can say they don't teach CRT because they can call it whatever they want.
He then compares it to sex ed programs changing their name with parents catch on?? (Is this a thing?)
Robby Starbuck wants them to ask schools if racism can happen to everyone and says if they don't believe that then they do believe in CRT.
The mom (Sorry forgot her name because she wasn't on the list) is ranting about equity vs equality. They seem cool with equality but not equity.
Robby Starbuck says they should record their conversations with schools. Dr. Beth Meyers says you should ask for a budget.
Nest questioner refers to herself as a "California refugee". Talking about the book "And then there were none". Says 7th grader was shown a video of a man and woman having sex by accident and apologized. Then she says something about gender and mature minor documents.
I don't remember Agatha Christie being sexy. ?
Robby Starbuck ranting about gender again.
Questioner John talking about school board...wants to confirm that 4 out of 6 in last school board election had no contentiors. Robby Starbuck says more people need to run. Says a lady named Bernadette is going to run and she's going to be great.
John wants to know how to learn about the board. Robby Starbuck says he's going to invite school board members to a public forum. Says they don't come to that it's highly likely that they have answers they don't want parents to hear.
Moderator says they are out of time. Peace out.
They are giving large gift baskets to each speaker. Moderator says push back on schools and teachers pushing this because our kids deserve better and today's kids are tomorrow's voters. Go forward and be courageous.
@threadreaderapp unroll, please
One note about the links and pics in this thread: Most are directly from the Moms For Liberty presentation either through screenshots of the presentation itself or in my finding the YouTube videos they were sharing.
But I did add a few things for reference, including the videos to watch read-alouds of "Ruby Bridges Goes to School" and "Separate is Never Equal." and the quotes from "George & George."
