For those asking about Val Broeksmit: I still don’t have any independent confirmation of where he is. The LAPD hasn’t said anything recently, the case is still active. In the interest of full transparency, I want to share a couple of things, though (1/x)
Val’s girlfriend has been in the middle of a custody dispute with her ex husband over their young child. I know for a fact this was taking a lot of Val’s time and energy.
I only mention this because I want everyone to know that there’s a possibility that this stressful situation has more to do with his disappearance than the Deutsche Bank/Russia stuff. I just don’t know.
Val is not under any witness protection or anything like that. There are numerous factors that disprove this - chiefly among them the circumstances of how he left.
So: Val is still missing, I’m still worried, but there was a lot going on in his life, and any one of those situations could have contributed to his disappearance. I don’t know. /end

.@BikiniRobotArmy is missing. I've worked with Val for almost 2 years now on matters about Deutsche Bank, where his father was a senior exec before committing suicide. Val's car was found last week in LA without him. If you know anything please let me know.
A ton has been written about Val, but I always found him kind and generous. Deep down he's a good dude. I hope he's okay wherever he is right now.
Hasn’t been heard from since last Tuesday. His car was found abandoned in South Central. Please let me know if you know anything about where Val is.
The way that the media is treating the Derek Chauvin trial as some sort of game or sports event really doesn’t sit right with me at all.
CNN and MSNBC have special commercials advertising their upcoming coverage. Fox occasionally has a ticker reminding people that the trial is coming. It’s just sick.
Are we really at the point where we’re making *things that haven’t even happened yet* a news cycle? Why the hell are Black people still treated like spectacles?
I'm aware of some sort of operation in which thousands of credit/debit cards appear to have been co-opted to donate to @forensicnewsnet. I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but relevant people are being notified. If you don't recognize a $2 charge to Forensic News, let me know.
Between Monday and Wednesday, we received ~2000 attempted donations of $2. All of these attempted donations were from offshore locations such as Costa Rica and Russia. We're investigating.
We just got bombed with 300 more attempted donations. Something extremely fishy is going on.
