This Victoria Day long weekend, the City of Toronto is encouraging all residents to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
With all Toronto residents 18 and older now eligible to get vaccinated, the City has added appointments throughout the long weekend at its network of City-run immunization clinics.
During this Long Weekend Dose Drive, the City has the capacity to vaccinate 56,160 people. More than 11,000 appointments remain available between today and Monday in the provincial vaccine booking system.

The City of Toronto is working to open splash pads, following the Province of Ontario’s announcement that these amenities can open effective Saturday, May 22.
Work is already underway to open splash pads and will continue into the evening and the coming days. The City anticipates opening more than 70 of 140 splash pad locations by Saturday, barring any mechanical issues.
This Sunday, May 23, the City of Toronto is partnering with @UHN to host a pop-up vaccination clinic in the Rotunda at City Hall, which can be accessed from Nathan Philips Square.
UHN will operate the clinic starting at 10 a.m. The clinic will remain open until the 2,000 doses available are administered.

The City is opening more than 19,000 new vaccination appointments over the Victoria Day long weekend at City-operated immunization clinics. More than 4,750 additional appointments are being added each day this coming Victoria Day Weekend, including Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon.
The new appointments are spread across six of the City’s clinics, in addition to already-scheduled appointments. The new appointments will be added to the provincial vaccine booking system at 4 p.m. today.
Today the City was able to add more than 17,000 new appointments spread across five City-operated clinics for the week of May 10 due to confirmed additional vaccine supply. With this added supply, City clinics can administer approximately 98,000 vaccine doses between May 10 to 16
These new appointments for next week are now available in the provincial vaccine booking system at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar and Cloverdale Mall clinics.
This afternoon, 2,430 new vaccination appointments between May 10 to 12 at the immunization clinic at Malvern Community Recreation Centre in Scarborough were added to the provincial vaccine booking system.
Between May 10 and 12, the Malvern Community Recreation Centre was to undergo planned infrastructure work requiring a two-day suspension of clinic operations.
