Good evening! I’m OTG on Huntingnton Beach to check out Adrian’s kickback. There’s several men in Viking helmet beer serving hats and fireworks. I’ll report more soon.

There’s *at least* thousands of people here

Indeed, #adrianskickback is very alive and well here in Huntington Beach. Many many people in the street, crowding cars.

Now lots on top of cars.

Less lethals deployed. Lots of folks running away, going about one block down to another area where there is a lot of partying.

Some bottles, one firework and a glow in the dark frisbee thrown towards the police. More less lethals (mostly pepper bullet munitions) into crowd. #adrianskickback

A man in a Spider-Man costume is taking photo ops. A few people@offered him white claws. Spider-Man declined for now. #adrianskickback

Crowd is back in the street. Some cars doing burnouts. Crowd greatly outnumbers police presence, but both pretty large. #adrianskickback

Definitely a wild event. People all over the Pier area. Bottles being thrown, fireworks… #adrianskickback

Of note: it does sound as though a burglar alarm is going off. I can’t see any visible damage to the store, however.

Police dropped some pepper bullets. Firework thrown at police. I was just hit by less lethal munitions in bio and… back of head. #adrianskickback

My hip hurts right now but I can’t get to my car so I guess I’ll be covering for the rest of the night.

There’s currently a police operation. Not sure exactly what the story is (I’ll follow up). Police entering front gate of a home. Hearing “get off my property” then a taser. Some arrests made. #adrianskickback
