The objection over the voting rights act, police reform across the board in the GOP reinforces the obvious fact that the current gop has never been interested in democracy. @RepLizCheney holding herself out as a defender of democracy is a farce. (2)
Don’t be fooled. If people like @RepLizCheney @MittRomney @AdamKinzinger @lisamurkowski et al don’t support the voting rights act, police reform, then all their so called “righteous opposition” to Trumpism is fraudulent. They still oppose true American Democracy. (3)
True democracy insures voting rights for all. No gerrymandering. Winning elections by ideas, not rigging the system to block voting and gerrymandering wackos in like @Jim_Jordan @DrPaulGosar etc. The so called “moderate Republicans” are no better if they oppose voting rights (4)
Don’t be fooled. No one in the GOP can be trusted to protect American democracy. There aren’t “10 senate GOPers” willing to see government work. We must vote to rid American democracy from these insurrection supporters.
We cannot depend on moderate Republicans to protect American democracy for Black/Brown/Latino/Asian/Native Americans. End.
