I just want to talk about this apartment. It is 1930's; a bit shabby. Let's say, a bit run down. Sash windows with (f*ing idiots) broken sash cords that are broken. Paint cracked and peeling. BUT. But this: There's no place in it where you can't see at least two doors. /2
Most places, 3. Including passageways 4. And including any wondering eye line, 5. How the hell do you build a place a small apartment, where where ever you stand, your eye wonders off to a new thing to do? /3
Whoever did this was a genius. I've visited adjoining apartments, and they are shit The whole complex was built to create this: optical illusion; eye-line trap of enticement; microcosm of the world. /4
It is a work of architectural art, that I am blessed to live in, so briefly, and then I, and then it, will be gone. But some artist, whoever it was, and for however long, built it for people to live in, for a moment in time, as a perfect home. And I haven't mentioned the light...

Mr Gaetjens is paid $875,000pa. This is his performance in Senate estimates:
Wong: What do you understand the facts to be that you are verifying?
Gaetjens: Um. Pimin... Tck... Senator I’m… I’m. Ah. I’m going to take that on notice because I want… /2
Wong: [Astonished; Interrupting] YOU DON’T KNOW??? You don’t know what you are supposed to be verifying in this enquiry?
Chair: [Speaking over Wong]: Senators – allow the witness to respond.
Gaetjens: I want to make sure that I have not... /3
Because that relates back to events in the middle of February, and I’m not going to just... Talk about this from the top of my head. I do not want to... Either mislead or promote wrong inflorflations (sic). I will find out… It’s all in the media so it’s sop nop (sic)… /4
@buttanutsnapped 1) No, low platelets and clotting go together if the platelets are consumed by the clotting - in other words, the clotting is systemic, which can occur in a number of overwhelming infections. 2) It also occurs in COVID-19 infections. /2
@buttanutsnapped 3) Suggesting it is caused by something in common, such as the COVID-19 spike protein. 4) Which is shared between all current COVID-19 vaccines.
@buttanutsnapped 5) It is newly described in association with COVID-19 vaccines. 6) A recent Oxford study (yes, same people) has reported that it occurs with some other vaccines too. /4
KNOCK KNOCK
Pagan: What’s in the package, boss.
Skip: Dunno. Didn’t open it.
Pagan: Oh, okay. Do you want me to open it?
Skip: NO! You must never open it either.
Pagan: Why not?
Skip: It is about you.
Pagan: … how … do you know it is about me… if… you didn’t… open it?
/2
Skip: Never mind all that, so long as neither of us open it, everything will be okay.
Pagan: Okay… Was that all you wanted to see me for? I was hoping to pop down to the bar for a cuddle.
Skip: No – there is one other thing.
Pagan: Sure. No problem. What’s that?
/3
Skip: You have to deny it.
Pagan: What?
Skip: What’s in the package.
Pagan: How can I deny what’s in the package… if I don’t know… what’s…
Skip: Never mind that! Deny everything!
Pagan: Sure thing… Are you feeling okay? You don’t seem to be making much sense today...

So it is a new day - and where do we find ourselves - pedophiles, victims, fellow travellers, protectors, defenders, Ministers, Prime Ministers, all of us together. Perhaps we can agree that this cannot go on. /2
Our parliament cannot be a nest of depravity because of the proclivities of the few. The country can not be held back because of the acquisitiveness of the greedy. This needs to stop. The thought of rejective democracy is too terrible to contemplate. /3
So we must take what we have and make it work. Parliament is not a football match. Stop barracking for teams, and barrack for integrity. If your MP is a pervert, a thief or an arsehole, challenge them. Don't wait for an election: make then shape up now, or drive them out now. /4
UPDATE: MS and COVID-19 Vaccination
A few weeks ago I tweeted about the issues surrounding those on immunosuppressant treatments needing the vaccine for COVID-19. I talked about my own decision at that time. This thread provides important new information for MS patients. /2
Following my tweets, I was approached by a number of media organisation asking if I would like to talk about the issues to a broader audience. One of these was a major newspaper. I drafted an article, and as I always do, circulated it amongst colleagues for feedback. /3
Three very senior neurologists contacted me in what I describe as "an intervention." Although speaking independently, their points were the same, which were: 1) Stopping my MS treatment for 6 months was the wrong thing to do. It placed me at a high risk of serious harm. /4
