I always think about singularity as a very pleasing feeling, a feeling that can lawfully be explained with words. It is a beautiful song, with a beautiful deep meaning.

In singularity, Taehyung talks about a toxic relationship, a love that had him hiding his true self and burying his voice for the person he loves.

"I hear something shattering
It suddenly wakes me up"

Those lyrics reflect the image of the ice breaking,which is for taehyung the barrier he uses to hide his true self. He dislikes the fact that the ice will break,leaving him with no shield to hide from this prejudiced world.

"I left myself behind on that lake
My voice was buried for you"

Here taehyung was talking about the person with whom he had a romantic relationship, the girl he managed to lose himself and bury his voice for. But is this really called true love?

"Please, don't say anything
I hold out my hand to cover your mouth
But in the end, spring will come someday
The ice will melt away"

Things can't be hidden forever, the spring day where the ice will melt will come soon or later.

Taehyung has finally woken up from this toxic love and accepted his existence.Changing yourself to make your partner happy will never be called true love. You have to be loved for who you-

are, including all your flaws and weaknesses.

"Love yourself: tear" showed how a perfect relationship can become that toxic, leading you to change yourself, wearing a mask and being afraid to be judged for who you are,Loving yourself certainly makes it easier to love someone else,

if you are critical and unaccepting of yourself, you probably find it difficult to believe other people can really accept and love you. And I personally think that singularity fits perfectly with the theme of the album as an intro.

RM has revealed on a live that Singularity is based on Ray Kurzweil's book 'The Singularity is near'. The meaning of the book is really difficult to grasp, yet RM wrote a whole song on it, in 3 hours 4 days before being discharged from the hospital.

Listening to this song makes me thoughtless, I usually listen to it when I'm having a hard time thinking about something bothering me, or when I'm stressed out, it helps me to relax and think of nothing.

It's probably because of the relaxing beautiful beat and taehyung's low-pitched voice which helps it all to be a balm to me.

It reminds me that it's okay to be yourself regardless of your flaws, no one is perfect, and changing yourself just to be accepted in a relationship will never be called true love.

It reminds me to believe that someday, I will find someone who I will love, and who will love me for who I am,,,,

Make sure to support and give so much love to this muster piece,it is one of my favorite BTS songs that i listened to in a row when i was a baby army.When i first heard it, it gave me goosebumps,i was so amazed by taehyung's voice, the beautiful beat of the song, the dance moves-

everything thing was perfect, from the smallest details to the biggest ones, and still can't end my day without it❤️.
