David Chipman tells @ChuckGrassley that if confirmed at ATF, he will turn over the Hunter Biden gun purchase info (alleged illegal felon prohibited purchased)

David Chipman said the photo of him at Waco is fake. Also he should have been more careful about saying how the Branch Davidians 50 caliber gun was used to shoot down the helicopters.

Sen. Leahy tells David Chipman that as a gun owner, when he goes to the gun shop, they apologize for doing a FBI background check on him, but he said he wants it done so there are no straw purchases.

PS - Background check is federal law, so this isn't optional for senators

Sen. Feinstein says as they are sitting in ATF confirmation hearing, there is a gunman in San Francisco who is "shooting down people" and press reports that he's killed 6-7 people.

Whoa. Sen. @tedcruz just exposed David Chipman as a radical who wants the government to confiscate AR-15 from Americans. Biden wants this guy to head ATF?

David Chipman - Feinstein's bill does not address those firearms that are currently in the possession of Americans.

Chipman equates ghost guns and bomb parts.
"Certainly tracing a serial of a product is critical. It’s how we solved the World Trade Center bombing and Oklahoma City bombing. So it’s absolutely essential to law enforcement to be able to trace a gun."

"People can actually assemble these guns out of their homes, make them out of plastics on machines" --> This is not true. Blumenthal is fear mongering.
