Nigeria's escrow company, EscrowLock has won a $100 million global business grant from the world's largest social media company, Facebook Incorporated.

According to the Director of EscrowLock, Elochukwu Eze, the information was contained in a statement issued by Facebook and made available to EscrowLock's office in Agbiligba Nanka, Anambra State.
He also said escrowlock Marketplace engages over 1,000 Nigerians as affiliates.
A Snr Exec of the firm, Mr Deji Akinbode, revealed that the firm will by next month begin to accept applications from Nigerians who're interested in working as online affiliates for its marketplace.
EsrowLock's Strategy Lead, Ms Sandra Iheanaetu, said the company would soon provide micro-grants and visibility to small businesses run by online individuals across 36 states of Nigeria and FCT. The challenge is designed to hold, at least, every quarter of the year.

Government pickin!

Earlier this week, news broke that Aliko Dangote was moving 60% of his family investment to the US. Two days after, we saw him in Tanzania promising to increase his investment in the country because he wants to support the new president, whose business...
decisions have been investment friendly. I am happy for him. He has sense.
But as a businessman, I am not sure Dangote is a model. Don't take my word for it. Let the data speak:
In October 2016, Dansa, Dangote's fruit juice company packed up because it wasn't making profit.
It closed shop, owing it's workers 6 months salary.
He also started a $13 million tomato processing plant in March 2016 and closed shop in August 2017, saying it was because of "importation of tomato paste, shortfall in the supply of fresh tomatoes and power failure."

He who fears to fight because he's not sure of winning is not worthy to live. Note that the fight will still be brought to him when his fears are fully revealed to his enemies.
While we do not subscribe to war as a way to avoid further intimidation, we must not be afraid to defend our territory if invaders bring the fight. If we can't gain grounds, we must not lose grounds.
The fact that a warrior does not want war doesn't mean he should avoid one because he is afraid of death. He is battle-ready and will not surrender to invaders.
