Hey Scarborough! We KNOW you're excited by today's news about a #2DoseSummer. 💉💉
Right now, we're directly contacting people who are newly eligible for their 2nd dose, and who got their first vaccination at one of our clinics, with information about booking an appointment. 1/4
As a lot of the eligible clients are 80+, we are calling and emailing them with information about booking a 2nd dose vaccine appointment at a clinic that is giving the same type of vaccine that was administered for 1st dose. 2/4
The eligibility criteria for our pop-up clinics running on May 29 and 30 has not changed at this time. They will be administering first doses. 3/4
We know you have questions about opportunities to receive 2nd doses at pop-up clinics or mobile vaccine clinics.
Our team is working swiftly and carefully to put plans and procedures together and, as soon as the information is finalized, we will share it with you...
And we greatly appreciate your patience & support as we establish new procedures designed to vaccinate people in Scarborough as quickly as possible.
We're here for YOU. And we look forward to vaccinating you, your families, friends, & neighbours really, really soon. 4/4

Our vaccine clinic teams are contacting everyone whose vaccination appointment is impacted by this closure, and we will help people re-schedule their appointments at the next available opportunity.

We know that this is very disappointing to families across Scarborough. We will re-open our clinics as soon as we receive more vaccines. We continue to work closely with the Ministry of Health and Toronto Public Health to confirm future vaccine shipments.
