4 simple strategies I use write code faster

🧵
🔹Relative Comparison

This is a strategy I use to remember syntax. I simply reason about one language/syntax in relation to another.

For eg,JavaScript uses semicolons and bracket parameters whereas Python uses no brackets, as well as indentation

By relating them, I remember.
🔹Cleansheets

I have so many cleansheets saved in my computer. Cleansheets for Git commands, CSS selector syntax, JavaScript, Flexbox and CSS grids, Bootstrap classes etc are all saved on my computer.

When I get stuck, I just refer to them easily and quickly.
🔹 Mnemonics

This is one weird tactics I use to remember code syntax and rules.

An example is - G*ACRP, which stands for:

git add.
git commit.
git remote add (optional)
git push

Like I said, this is weird but it works!
🔹Video Clips

I also have sections of popular video tutorials saved as clips on my computer. That way, I can revisit the m when I need some information.

Just use a video editor to trim out the important sections. This strategy works for me.

What exactly is Local Storage and how is it used?

Here's all you need to know:
The local storage is a mechanism used to store information about a user like his/her

- name
- interests
- preferences

or even cookie in the client's computer.

It is a small database controlled by the web browser
- You can only store the values as strings, not array or object

- If the information you want to store in local storage is an array, object or map, you must first coerce it to a string.

- Info will remain even after the tab is closed.
