12 Harsh Truths You Have To Accept,
No Matter How Shitty They Seem

| Thread
Life is no picnic.
All too often, we have to overcome obstacles to survive.

Study these 12 harsh truths of life to help you get stronger.
1. You will fail sometimes.

You’ll never be 100% sure it will work, but you can always be 100% sure doing nothing won’t work.

So get out there and do something!
2. There’s a lot you don’t know

The day you stop learning is the day you stop living.

Embrace new information, think about it, and use it to advance yourself.
3. There may not be a tomorrow
This is sad but true.

So spend your time wisely today and pause long enough to appreciate it.
4. There will never be a right moment.
If you want to change your job or leave everything behind to travel the world, do it now.

The longer you wait for it, the more regrets you generate.
5. Someone else will always have more than you
But remember, it’s not how many you have,
it’s how passionate you are about collecting them.

It’s all about the journey.
6. There will always be people who don’t like you
No matter what you do, there will always be someone who thinks differently.

So concentrate on doing what you know in your heart is right.
7. You will never feel 100% ready for something new

Because most great opportunities in life,
force us to grow beyond our comfort zones,
which means you won’t feel totally comfortable or ready for it.
8. No matter how much anyone likes you or loves you,
they have their own life to live and you have your own life to live.

You are on your own and always will be.
9. You can’t change the past

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”

You can’t change what happened, but you can change how you react to it.
10. Solve your own problems
It’s impossible to always rely on other people to be there for you,
simply because they probably have to deal with their own stuff too.

You have to deal with the real big issues too
11. Nothing hurts us more than our own expectations that didn’t come true.

And although it’s good to dream big,
sometimes we just have to fit our wishes into our reality.
12. Toxic company is bad for you
These are the whiners, the pessimists, and the prejudiced.

Try to gravitate towards the optimistic and passionate people,
who will help you see the brighter side of life.
