Americans need this to happen. It is their requirement but to be refused like this is something that they are not used to. They are used to getting their way and past is the proof of this claim of mine.

This was to build pressure on the forces instead of the civilian government in order to gain access to the bases

They think probably that by putting the agencies and the forces on a back foot they might come under pressure and agree to what the Americans want: BASES and access to Pakistan and its land.

Remember that throughout the history any place America has invaded
