MY ORANGE AND TEAL NIGHTMARE

Everywhere I turn I see Orange & Teal. After you read this thread, you will too.

⚠️ You have been warned. ⚠️
2\

It’s impossible to watch any form of media these days without being assaulted by oranges and teals: movies, television shows, posters, book covers, screensavers, advertising.

There is no escape.
3\

Why are Orange and Teal all the rage?

They are complimentary colors, opposite each other on the color wheel.
4\

Flesh tones can be found mostly in the orange range. And since most movies and television shows feature people, directors favor the combination of orange & teal so that the faces of the actors will pop out.
5\

Also, many believe that the color combination adds energy.
6\

As far as I can tell, the earliest example of the use of color grading is the Coen brothers movie, O Brother Where Art Thou.
7\

O Brother was the first movie to use the process whereby a movie is shot on film and then converted to digitized images, allowing special effects, animation or color grading to be added in post-production.
8\

You can do this in Photoshop. Here I took a photo of Amy Adams walking with her family and played around with the orange and teal colors.
9\

Color grading heavily orange and teal can have the effect of giving a person a more healthy and vibrant appearance.
10\

Here is a poster for the movie Bliss.

Through the use of color grading, the faces of Selma Hayak and Owen Wilson are made to appear happy and healthy in the middle of the poster; sad and tired on the margins of the poster.
11\

I can’t help but think of the “Orange Man.” Did he intentionally go for the look in order to stand out? 🤷‍♂️

Better to be orange and noticed than pasty white and unnoticed, I suppose.
12\

When the Coen brothers used this process in O Brother, the tones were muted. They were attempting to create the feel of Depression-era Mississippi.

The Coens told their cinematographer, Roger Deakins, that they were aiming for an “old, faded postcard” look.
13\

So in O Brother the orange and teal colors are subtle and muted.
14\

Deakins also worked with the Coens to create their masterpiece, No Country for Old Men.
15\

My favorite shot from NCFOM is of the main character, a Texas good ol’ boy who stumbled upon a satchel of drug money, crossing the border with $2 million and a hitman on his tail.

His tortured face does, indeed, pop out in the dark night.
16\

(An observant viewer on reddit noticed that the briefcase holding the money in No Country for Old Men is the same briefcase used in the Coen brother’s Fargo. Easy money inevitably leads to certain doom in the Coen universe.)
17\

Unfortunately, most filmmakers aren’t as skillful as the Coens.

And the use of orange and teal is as omnipresent as ever.

If you doubt me, just look around. 😬

So Russell Moore claims he and his family have received "constant threats" from "white nationalists."

He doesn't, however, name names in his "leaked letter" (I'm going to guess he leaked it)

religionnews.com/2021/06/02/rus…

A reminder that Russell Moore accepted a paid trip from an organization associated with Paul Singer back in the winter of 2015.

3\

Moore was also writing joint editorials with Singer's preferred presidential candidate, Marco Rubio, during that time period.

Here's a recent article that covers, in a condensed form, much of what I have written about Michael and Barbara Ledeen.

The authors claim to have "uncovered" the "Israeli Angle."

I wrote a thread about the Israeli angle back in 2018.

3\

I don't agree with their final paragraph.

McMaster took over the NSC a month into the Trump presidency and then cleaned house of those who could be categorized as "hard-line Israel supporters" almost immediately. Image

Heath Ledger’s Joker is one of the greatest movie villains ever.

How did he bring to life such an unforgettable character?

And was it worth the price?
2\

By all indications, Ledger’s upbringing was privileged and his family loving. He was born into a prominent family in Perth, Australia.

The Sir Frank Ledger Charitable Trust is named after his great-grandfather.
3\

His father was a race car driver who started his own engineering firm.

Now that we know Durham is focusing on Igor Danchenko and the Brookings Institute, I'm hoping we'll be hearing more about Clifford Gaddy.
2\

Gaddy was formerly the Brookings' lead expert on Russia and co-author of several books on Vladimir Putin with Fiona Hill.

Perhaps most importantly, he's Danchenko's American mentor.

Read more here:

Gaddy suddenly retired from Brookings several years ago, coincidently (or not) when the Steele dossier was published.

WHAT WERE STANLEY KUBRICK'S SOURCES FOR EYES WIDES SHUT?

"It’s a great huge game of chess that’s being played -- all over the world -- if this the world at all, you know."

There was a time, years ago now, when I read every biography of Stanley Kubrick I could find in the library.

So it would be impossible for me to source every claim in this thread because I can’t tell you exactly where I learned the information.
3\

What fascinated me about Kubrick was the process he used to make movies. It always began with exhaustive research. He would devour numerous books, magazines and newspaper articles preparing for his next movie

THOUGHTS ON THE OCCULT AND THE WAY FORWARD

Several months again one of my followers replied that I didn’t really understand the occult. I found the response strange since I’ve never claimed to be an expert on the occult.

🤷‍♂️
2\

I suspect this person followed me after reading the thread I did on a certain hotel in London.

That thread did have some occult aspects to it, but such subjects are not my normal focus. Sorry to that person if he felt misled.

3\

That being said, I do believe that Spygate research actually is occult research in nature. Occult originally meant ‘hidden things.’

Only during the 17th century did the word begin to take on supernatural connotations.
