Battle of press releases.
Tell you what's interesting in all this gobbledygook.
* Press statement issued when PM has diarrhoea
* Press statement issued when PM advises King to allow parliamentary sitting from July 26.
* NO Press statement when decision made to advise King to revoke EOs.
Strange but true.
This issue could have been a avoided if
* Govt gave statement on advice to King on EO
* Law Minister explained advice given but no assent
* Speaker allowed Law Minister to explain further rather than wait for Monday
Now we have 2 versions of what has or has not happened.

PM says Emergency
* not military coup
* no curfew
* civilian govt continues
* if King satisfied needs immediate action, can enact ordinances, ie emergency rules to mitigate #covid19, take over private hospitals, facilities, expertise to alleviate public hospitals burden

* get army, police involvement to assist civil matters in pandemic
* tighten borders against intruders
* enforce public health laws, raise penalties
* laws against economic sabotage, profiteering
* ordinances to be gazetted

* independence panel to advise King on emergency period
* not against GE, except pandemic in the way
* will hold GE once independent panel agrees pandemic over
* that's PM's commitment
