1. With the presence of my pod and articles now. #BillsMafia would already know how I felt about Rex prior to the hire, so the takes wouldn’t feel like they were “hot bullets” so to speak because they’d be a continuation of pre-decision opinions.
2. An example of this would be my stance on running back in round one. Everybody knows I would disagree with the value based on tons of previous discussions, so when I say that after it happens, nobody is surprised.
3. I was uniquely opposed to the Rex hire in a way I’m not typically extreme about so even this level of heat is uncommon for me.
4. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t put more thought into takes now than I did in 2015 because there’s more consequences for my actions than there were. People trust that I’m going to have consistent logic and “why” and be able to explain it and unless I can, I don’t speak.
