I recall answering, “It's embarrassing to kiss in this situation." but at that time, i thought that if I let them kiss, I didn't know how to draw how they would be after that.

No, Mikasa was actually supposed to do that(the kiss) , but when I think about it, I started getting a cold feet and couldn't take a step forward.

Q. The chapter 138 “A Long Dream” the kiss was finally drawn. it’s like Eren’s “Romantic story” episode was included right before the last chapter..

Yams : I think it's good that the kiss I held back in chapter 50 ended up to be the foreshadowing of the final chapters, but what exactly changed in me? I don't know at all. Maybe I will understand when I read it back a few years later.
