LARGELY as a result of those that find it hard to comprehend details of the unfortunate tale; the story is still told even to this day in the small and quiet town of Kalulushi.

A stray dog believed to have been owned by a witchdoctor who lived...
near a graveyard, went on a biting rampage; causing loss of life to several of its victims.

The male dog with looks closer to that of a German shepherd was known to be a friendly canine and often wagged its tail to the witch-hunter's customers.
But during its calamity-causing period, the canine suddenly lost its charm and bit off quite a number of unsuspecting visitors of the witch doctor's compound.

The situation became worse in the October of 2003 when the dog ran away from the yard and wondered around the community.
That month, 10 people were bitten, 8 of which died upon receiving its bite.

Consultations with its owner revealed that the dog was actually under a very harmful spell cast on it by one of the witch doctor's rivals close by.
But days into November, the dog disappeared; without a trace. To this day, no one knows where or how it went away.

Leaving behind only memories of its damage.
