How a PHC medical officer can do wonders ? The person who stands in the middle Dr. Karthik, Pechipaarai PHC medical officer, Kanyakumari district, TN. This team travels once a week to reach a tribal area located in other side of mountain to conduct fever and vaccination camp. 
This team travels through this boat to a mountain across a reservoir with VTM kits, pulse oximeter, vaccination
They reach and walk for 1 hr to reach the hill namely Thachamalai where tribal population of 700 lives. Pls remember there is no mobile coverage in this area.
They setup the camp, conduct COVID screening of all in that tribal area. ASHA escorts all to the camp in a school located there. They measure SpO2 , they take swabs. If any suspected covid, transported by another boat and by an ambulance in the other part of shore.
