It looks like this morning's guilty plea by Emma Coronel was first scheduled, under a sealed criminal docket, back in April.
The docket was unsealed only yesterday and includes a new criminal information with the charges she'll presumably plead to. 1drv.ms/b/s!AnM-WBnwB3…
Do not expect fireworks at Emma Coronel's guilty plea now going on in DC federal court. Guilty pleas are generally boring & formulaic.
The most interesting thing we'll likely learn is the sentencing range that prosecutors are recommending under their agreement w/her.
Prosecutor AJ Nardozzi says that starting in 2011 Emma Coronel helped her husband Chapo Guzman bring at least 450 kilos of coke, 90 kilos of heroin and 90,000 kilos of pot into the US.
Nardozzi says that Emma also made money from rental properties (presumably in Mexico) that were purchased with Guzman's dirty money.
Emma Coronel will be sentenced in Washington DC on September 15, Judge Contreras says.
She'll remain in custody until her sentencing hearing.
NEW: Emma Coronel's plea agreement has been posted, link below.
Most interesting: prosecutors are suggesting a sentencing guideline range of 108 to 135 months. 1drv.ms/b/s!AnM-WBnwB3…
There is, by the way, no word in Emma's plea agreement about cooperation. I know people really want it to be true that she'll cooperate. But I don't see who at this point she could cooperate against and doubt there will be any cooperation.

Good morning. I'm starting Thread #22 of posts about new arrests in the Capitol riot and updates on continuing cases.
Previous threads can be found archived below.
As promised prosecutors moved overnight to detain newly arrested Oath Keeper suspect Jason Dolan. They say Dolan's behavior was a lot like his codefendant Ken Harrelson's. They drove up to DC together, stashed arms in a Va. hotel, joined the "stack" that breached the building.
The detention memo for Dolan, a former Marine marksmanship instructor who used the chat handle "Turmoil," doesn't add a whole lot to the govt's larger claims about the role the Oath Keepers played on Jan. 6 but there are few interesting details.
Good morning. I'm starting Thread #21 on posts about new arrests in the Capitol riot and updates on continuing cases.

There are two potentially interesting hearings this morning in DOJ's marquee conspiracy cases. 1) James Breheny, a NJ Oath Keeper leader, is in court on an initial appearance after his arrest last week 2) Zach Rehl, the Philly Proud Boy leader, is in court amid bail arguments.
Correction! The Oath Keepers hearing this morning, going on now, is for the full flight of defendants including a new person, William Isaacs, indicted this weekend.
James Breheny is in court on Wednesday.
On Sunday, lawyers for Proud Boy leader Ethan Nordean indicated in court papers that they're preparing to a file a motion to dismiss his conspiracy indictment. Nordean has argued from the start that the govt has offered misleading info in stitching together faulty charges.
Interesting:
The guy who took over the Seattle chapter of the Proud Boys from Ethan Nordean after his arrest submitted a statement w/Nordean's new filing on Sunday saying the Elder's Chapter of the PB's--its executive committee--will be dissolved pending a vote next month.
In a bold move, lawyers for Seattle Proud Boy Ethan Nordean accused prosecutors in a filing last night of w/holding exculpatory evidence--namely Proud Boy group chats that suggest a lack of pre-planning for the Capitol attack.
It's in keeping w/the PBs "no conspiracy" defense.
Here, Nordean comments on the charging document used to arrest his Florida colleague Joe Biggs. Nordean, in classic Proud Boy fashion, calls the affidavit "a steaming pile of dog shit" that makes it seem "like capital shit was planned."
Last night, Judge Emmett Sullivan ordered pretrial detention for Jack Whitton who is charged w/serious attacks on at least three cops in the Capitol's lower west terrace. The ruling proves--yet again--that the mob assault on the building was exceedingly violent.
Newly charged Capitol riot suspect, Anthony Antonio, of Naperville, Ill., was wearing what looks like a Three Percenter patch while in the mob at the Lower West Terrace, court papers show.
Overnight, prosecutors filed two new documents in the Oath Keepers conspiracy case w/a few new details on key defendants.
Here, Florida OK leader Kelly Meggs is communicating w/someone suggesting that he went looking for Nancy Pelosi after he and others breached the Capitol.
The feds say when they raided Florida Oath Keeper Kenneth Harrelson's house on March 15, they found weapons & a series of survivalist texts.
