Taehyung clears his throat, smiling sweetly at the front desk worker, slowly lowering his sunglasses to look at him.

“O-oh! I’m so sorry, let me just call him right away.”

“Thank you.”

Taehyung taps his foot as he waits, checking his nails. He and Hoseok went to his sister’s salon a few days ago and got them done together.

“Kim Taehyung.”

The voice is sweet and velvety, sending a tingle up his spine as he turns to look at none other than Jeon Jeongguk.

Jeongguk is effortlessly sexy with his recently changed hair into an undercut, black pieces falling into his face messily. His eyebrow is pierced, but his cheeks look a little more round than usual. It’s endearing — Taehyung likes it better when he’s round, like a boba ball.

And he’s dressed in simple ripped jeans, doc martens, and a black t-shirt, showing off his entire sleeve of tattoos.

Taehyung sucks in a sharp breath, trying not to absolutely lose his shit at seeing how sexy he is in person, up close, and instead offers a sweet smile.

“Jeon Jeongguk,” he mimics, stepping closer. “Just the man I’m here to see. I believe we have a date.”

Jeongguk’s cheeks flush a little, his eyes widen but he quickly regains his composure. “A date, huh.”

Taehyung follows him toward the elevators. “What else would you call it?”

As soon as they step into Jeongguk’s studio, Taehyung tosses his bag and jacket on the couch, practically ready to leap into Jeongguk’s arms and start making out.

But when he spins around to look at him, their bodies close, Jeongguk’s ears turn red and he rests a hand on the small of his back to lead him to the chair in front of his desk.

“Huh?” Taehyung asks, confused.

He was pretty sure they were hooking up?

“Since you’re such a big fan, I wanted to give you a sneak peak at my mixtape,” Jeongguk tells him with a grin, like he knows exactly what Taehyung was expecting when he came here. “Thought you’d like that.”

Normally, Taehyung would be crushed at being played with like that.

Before he’s horny, he’s Jeongguk’s fan first, so he immediately shifts to grab the headphones offered to him, a wide grin breaking out over his face.

“Is that even a question?” he asks, sliding them on over his head. “Oh my god, my friends are going to be so jealous!”

As the music starts to play in Taehyung’s ears, he closes his eyes, focusing on Jeongguk’s voice. Taehyung adores the band — and Seokjin as the main vocals is a big reason their band is as successful as it is — but Jeongguk’s voice has a different vibe.

And the mixtape, surprisingly, is a lot more pop punk than rock.

Taehyung loves it.

He gets so lost in it that he forgets Jeongguk is there, next to him, sitting on another chair.
