Putting this out there into the world: given that the Loki TV show seems to be loosely inspired by the Loki: Agent of Asgard comic series here goes my theory for the show:
1. Sophie Di Martino: Lorelei-style role, where she is antagonistic but works together with Loki to bring down a bigger bad, which in the comic was King Loki manipulating the almothers of Asgard, but in the show is likely the TVA given the theme of evil within the establishment
2. Meanwhile something evil is brewing within the TVA, just as how King Loki was manipulating events to hasten the destruction of Earth and best Thor: TVA is likely to be self-serving and the timekeepers and even some of the other authority figures are definitely corrupted
3. But the crux of the story in the comics centered upon Loki in issue 13 being confronted with different iterations of himself (just like the variants) and being told that he has to chose a set path that a previous Loki has paved to follow - classic evil Loki vs kid Loki
4. in the show, protagonist Loki, through the events of the show - encountering a lady Loki, kid Loki and I really hope a classic King Loki as well after bringing down the TVA will be presented with an opportunity to decide who he wants to be
5. after reflecting on the different variants he's encountered, Loki will end by deciding to forge an entirely new path for himself, and becoming the god of stories (which is the title he tends to identify himself with in the current iteration of the comics)
6. Loki by destroying the TVA fully establishes the multiverse, allowing the Loki variants to forge their own identities as well and definitely setting up multiverse of madness
7. this could lead to another multiverse war down the road, another link to agent of asgard - the comic series occured simultaneously with the comic's secret wars and battleworld storyline
8. And thus I really really hope the next big thing in the MCU is secret war where the multiverses collide because then we'll get to see the Loki variants together again (although hopefully sooner, Loki season 2 maybe 👀)
thanks for coming to my Ted talk if anyone actually read through this 😂
