THE VENUE:
We chose a cosy venue in Bulawayo CBD, along fife Street between 13th and 14th Avenue. This venue provided a covid safe enviroment
THE GUESTS
Present in the Official launch was the MNF board chairman Mr A Nakamba who is the father of our leader Marvelous Nakamba, alongside representatives from SRC, ZIFA, members of the Police, Team representatives and The Media
THE PROGRAM
Compacted in a 2 hour session, the Director of Ceremony Mr Hilton Mavise put the house in order and invited a moment of Prayer which was followed by Welcome Remarks by Board Secretary Mr Brian Moyo
THE WELCOME REMARKS
Noted in the welcome remarks were a number of sentiments by the Board secretary who welcomed the presence of team representatives who travelled from as far as Harare, Hwange and Mutare.
NOTES FROM REMARKS BY CHAIRMAN
📝The tournament looks to pave way for junior football resumption
📝The tournament compliments the effort by the foundation which has paid fees for over 2600 students
Exciting to note that junior football 📝academies have been cleared
OFFICIAL LAUNCH
Mr A Nakamba took to the podium and officially declared the tournament launched. This becomes the inaugural tournament that is set to run annually and continue to offer plartform to budding footballers. This seats well in the structures of the foundation.
THE POOLING OF TEAMS
Next on the agenda was a random pooling of teams. The tournament will be played in 2 venues which are White City and Luveve Stadium. Both venues will have 4 teams each.
This will be a mini league format

Teams were randomly selected to play in 2 venues

COVID PROTOCOLS
After the draw it was delivered that strict covid protocols will be observed at the tournament
📝Teams will undergo covid testing on Friday 18 June
📝No fans will be allowed in the Stadium
📝Visiting teams will arrive in Camp early for covid testing
EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Prior to the game, all participants will undergo a life skills training session
THE DATES ONCE AGAIN
The tournament is set for June 19 and June 20 at White City and Luveve
CLOSING REMARKS
closing remarks were delivered by Mr Simon Tembo who thanked everyone for gracing the event.
We signed off with a light moment of snacks and Refreshments as we look foward to the Day.
