Goooood morning #Rockies fans! Let's watch a ballgame! Antonio Senzatela vs Tony Santillan.
Tapia lines a single to the opposite field on the second pitch he sees. Good start!
Yonathan Daza with a ground rule double on the first pitch! The hop over the wall saved a run. Daza continues his excellent season.
Charlie Blackmon with a deep sac fly to left to score Tapia. #Rockies lead 1-0.
Trevor Story watches a fastball for called strike three. He's 1-11 since returning from the IL.
RyMac flies out to center to end the inning and now it's time for Senzy to shine.
Nice first inning for Senzy and the #Rockies. Five pitches. Jonathan India hit a leadoff single, but an out to Blackmon and a double play grounder gets it done quickly.
Great AB from CJ Cron to draw a four pitch walk.
Dom Nuñez single and CJ heads to third.
Very important: Senzatela wearing high socks.
Woof. Senzy pops a bunt attempt high and backwards. Tucker Barnhart makes an excellent play to reign it in for the out.
Tapia grounds out and the #Rockies leave runners stranded on the corners.
Back-to-back hits from the #Reds ties up the ballgame. Tyler Naquin with a double and Joey Votto with an RBI single. Votto, a surefire HOFer, has an RBI in five straight games.
And then Eugenio Suárez clobbers a homer to left. #Reds lead 3-1. Oh dear.
Three quick outs after the homer, but the damage is done. Reds have the lead 3-1 and the Rockies will need to try and climb back.
Daza unleashes some loud expletives as he takes a fastball off the arm and chest. Trainers clear him to keep going but it can't feel good. Spilly points out he's already got a bruise.
12 game hitting streak for one Mr. Chuck J Nazty. He legs out an infield single.
Chuck and Taps have the two longest streaks in the league now.
Another strikeout looking for Story. 1-12.
And McMahon goes down looking as well. He knew it, too.
Four pitch walk for BRod and here's Cron. He's hitting .303 with runners on base this season. A base hit would be lovely here.
Well framed pitch by Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart. That was absolutely ball 4.
On a full count, Cron golfs a pitch low for a pop-out to right field. The Rockies leave the bases loaded. You can't let that happen when you're this bad on the road.
Important note, I find Rosie Red oddly terrifying. Yes, Miss Met as well.
Solid debut for #Reds rookie Tony Santillan, but he leaves the bases loaded after 4.2. #Rockies NEED to score here.
Dom Nuñez strikes out on a full count and leaves the bases loaded. The #Rockies have stranded nine runners through five and scored just one run.
Ryan McMahon with his 15th homer of the season, and he rounds the bases with the buttons undone. It's now 3-2. #RyMacAllStar
CJ Cron's walked three times today. The one time he's taken the bat off his shoulders led to a pop-out after a ball 4 was called strike two. He could have walked four times today.
That'll do it for Senzy. He leaves the 7th with runners in scoring position and no outs. It'll be up to Carlos Estévez to get out of the jam.
Tough break for the #Rockies. Infield playing in and Winker cracks a base hit over the shift. Two runs score. A third scores on a sac fly. 6-2 #Reds

@not_again70 I'm going to be blunt. Members of sports media can't spent the entire time being hypercritical/insulting to an organization. We can't constantly insult the owner. It's damaging to our careers and the ability to get sources and make connections, or to get new jobs down the line.
@not_again70 The majority of us are critical of the moves the team makes, or of how the team is playing. But everyone needs to recognize the human element. The people running the social media accounts don't make organizational decisions. Neither do the players.
@not_again70 Is Matt Adams supposed to just go "well I'm playing poorly so I guess I'll just quit because people are mad? Are the atRockies team members supposed to jeopardize their livelihoods and potential future jobs to make you happy by publicly insulting their boss?
