THE PLACES OF WORSHIP (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1991: An Act to prohibit conversion of any place of worship and to provide for the maintenance of the religious character of any place of worship as it existed on the 15th day of August, 1947.
All the temple shall be as per Agamas prescribed. Rule 9 of Tamil Nadu Temple entry Authorization: No executive authority of a temple shall be entitled to introduce the time, place and MODE of WORSHIP.
Our Minister cannot dictate that Mantras shall be recited in Tamizh which is against the Law/constitution of India.
Shivacharyas are Adi Shaivas and there are different from "Bhramins". I would like to confirm that even Bhramins - Iyer, Iyyengar, Madhwas are not allowed inside "Garbagraham"
Seshammal & Ors, Etc. Etc vs State Of Tamil Nadu. "Archakas shall be appointed as per the Agama" shall not be treated as discrimination of Caste. State Cannot interfere on any rituals / mode of worship.
Sec. 23 of Hr&CE Act, 1959:

Following points to be noted:
1. Temples like Aiyyanar, Sudalaiman, Siruvachur MaduraKali and many more temples - Non-Bhramins are priest for years together
2. Shivacharyas/Bhattars are appointed in line with Agamas and not based on Caste.

These announcements are futile and just for Political Gain and cheat the public at large. Only this ruling party can make public statement which is unconstitutional and detrimental to the interest of public
Interestingly, the people who don't have Hindu religious believes (headed by Fraud Socrates Award winner) wants to bring Samooga Nidhi and elevate Tamizh.

In all big temples, Thevaram is sung daily after deeparathanai. These DMK never done anything for Tamizh except false propaganda. End of the day, when they cant implement this. "PAARPANA SOOZCHI" will be the headlines
Only in our Country and especially in our state, Government can bring policies which are against the law and impossible to implement. Its yet another fake promise like NEET, Petrol price reduction and other fake policies.
