I used to do around 1.5 million monthly zaps to automate hundred of routine processes within my agency using @zapier

Here are 10 important Zapier workflows that you should build to help automate your agency
Account Manager FAQ

- account managers that forward all client questions to me is a pain so I created a database where we store all questions and answers that they can refer to before asking me questions using this zap
Reminders For Routine Tasks For VAs

- our bi weekly reports are sent by our virtual assistants and just to make sure they don't forget, I set up a bot that messages them to remind them
Daily Update Bot

- simple KPI's that clients can see that update the on the progress that is being made daily

(clients love communication)
Demo Set Bot

- every time a demo is set within our agency it updates our #comms chat on slack and adds them into the pipeline so we can track leads properly
Onboarding Form Has Been Submitted

- our form catches and set's off a ton of different zaps that would take a million screenshots so instead I'll link @bricewoodard thread that is very similar to what we do

()
Charge Client For Appointment Set

- we do a pay per appointment model for our lead gen agency and used to send an invoice at the end of the month to collect the months worth of appointments but now we have a zap that charges them immediately when an appointment is booked
Omni Channel Lead Generation

- this is where 70% of all my zap costs came from because we had to set this up for every client

- It basically connect Mailshake to expandi to automate connection request to prospects that didn't open up our outbound emails
Discovery Call Recordings

- love having all our discovery call recording being sent into our slack channel so our team can review and give feedback immediately
Client Management

- when a client finishes that onboarding form, it will take all their information and add them to our client management section within Notion so we can make sure that everything is being taken care of
Money Bot

- this is so our team gets notified immediately when the prospect pays
Comment below any other Zapier workflows that you're using to run your agency - would love to see how you're running things 😀

This might be the most valuable cold email post I've ever made.

Here are 10 bad cold emails, and re-writes (and templates) to make each of them meeting-printers:

(I'd bookmark this if I were you)
I'm curious - after reading this, can you reply with which re-write you felt was best?

Trying to see something.

Anyway, let's get into it:

90% of agencies' client onboarding experiences suck.

They leave the client confused, frustrated, and more likely to churn.

I've onboarded 300+ customers in the past 3 years at our agency.

Here's onboarding 101:

(bookmark this)
1. Automated email after signature + payment

- Congrats on signing up!
- Here's our onboarding form

Simple, but necessary.
2. Post-form fill

- Email with ALL relevant info they need for your engagement
- Create and trigger all workflows in your backend
- Give customer the time to schedule a call with CSM

*have their CSM reply to that email and give next steps again

The easiest way to go from $0-10K/mo is with outbound and content.

The easiest way to go from $10K/mo-$0 is trying to get to $20K/mo with paid ads.

If you're under $30K/mo, here's what you can expect from ads:
Your CPA will be no less than $1,500.

That's if you have a solid LP with a VSL and case studies, active LinkedIn, and the whole nine yards.

Most people don't have it completely dialed in.

Let's do the math, even assuming the best case:
Monthly revenue: $10K
CPA: $1,500

15% of your revenue each month to acquire 1 customer simply doesn't work.

Some months, your CPM will shoot up and ads will under-perform.

You'll pay $2K+ for nothing.

You can't afford that cash flow hit on $10K of revenue.

Instead...

$15,000/mo business idea a college kid could start by lunch today:
Influencer scouting for brands.

1. Set up as many inboxes as you could afford

Ideally through Hypertide, but Smartlead also just released a feature that lets you buy through them, too.

Warm them up as needed (let me know if you need help).
2. Pull from Apollo

Get every Influencer Marketing Manager and Creator Partnerships Manager in the USA with >10 headcount.

These people's jobs are to find and pay influencers. You're going to find them for free and still make 10-20% of the deal.

Web design is infinitely hard to sell with cold outbound.

You HAVE to turn your offer from demand capture to demand gen.

Here's exactly how I'd do it:
For the record, demand capture offers are tough in general.

You're sending cold emails to 100% of your TAM, trying to find the 3% actively looking for your offer.

It's tough to make money on.

On the other hand, demand generation offers CREATE demand for your service.
If I was trying to turn web design—a demand capture offer—into a demand gen offer, here's what I'd do:

1. Pull a list of high-traffic sites in my ICP

You can do this with Similar Web and other scrapers.

You will see why it needs to be high traffic shortly.

I spent $1,700,000 learning lead gen in the last 5 years.

Here's a master thread of my 17 most important learnings: Image
Before I get into this – compiling this took a ton of time and, well, literally almost $2M.

Any replies/RTs are appreciated for helping this get out there.

Let's get into it:
1. You cannot force a bad offer to generate leads

- Watch Cold Email Wiz + Hormozi's content
- Give a tangible guarantee + outcome to reduce risk for the prospect

If you don't, you'll have to send 3x the amount of emails and do 3x the work for average results.
