On the defensive after meeting with Vladimir Putin in Geneva, President Biden lashed out at the American press at the end of a short, 33-minute briefing. The WH refused a joint press conference with Putin beforehand. See that story here: trib.al/yCjjuJf

Biden tried to wrap up his Q&A after fielding questions from just six journalists, but other reporters kept going as he walked off stage. CNN’s Kaitlin Collins shouted, “Why are you so confident [Putin] will change his behavior, Mr. President?”

Biden responded to Collins, “I’m not confident he’ll change his behavior! What the hell? What do you do all of the time? When did I say I was confident?” The 78-year-old president shot back as he walked toward her with his finger in the air.

Guests will meet vaccination criteria if they’ve received a second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna vaccine at least 14 days earlier, or that same span with a Johnson & Johnson shot. There are no exceptions for AstraZeneca recipients.

The UN agency’s draft global alcohol action plan for 2022-2030 urges countries to pay “appropriate attention to prevention” of consumption in certain groups, including teens and women of childbearing age, the UK’s Telegraph reported.

Matt Lambert, head of the Portman Group, slammed the WHO on Wednesday. “As well as being sexist and paternalistic, and potentially restricting the freedoms of most women, it goes well beyond their remit and is not rooted in science,” he said.
