maybe the mob is someone important and kae sees him in a function/ball, all smiling and suave as if he hasn't scarred kae so badly for life, and when the mob sees him by dlc's side he leers as if he thinks kae is dlc's boytoy the way he used to be the mob's """boytoy"""

the mob walks towards them as if hes about to greet them which kae knows is sth to be expected from guests in a social function, and still he manages to ask a weak request to dlc for them to go to the other end of the room for some vaguely banal reason or another

it's fuck o'clock in the morning but i still cant believe mhy's writing team went out of their way just to make sure that lckae are stranded on the island together

there's no solid reason why dlc's pyro vision can melt kae's ice bridge. there's no solid reason why albd has to leave lckae either--the three of them can stick together for the event story. alternatively the three of them can all be on different islands.

but no they somehow had to defy the easiest most straightforward alternatives and risk breaking lore (dlc has "perfected the art of violence" but he can't keep his vision in check long enough to not melt kae's bridge?) just to make them stuck together for no reason

lckae fantasy AU where kaeya is the high priest of a shady religious order and diluc is a holy knight sworn to protect the order

but kaeya is a high priest in name only, a puppet--the actual power rests in the council of the elders who rules the country in their theocratic authority

the religious order is the one who waged a successful crusade against the godless heathens of the nation of khaenri'ah, decimating even their royal family--it is said that even their young heir was killed during a siege...haha unless??

kaeya...having sleep issues (once again im escorted out of twitter

on top of him having nightmares i do love the idea that kaeya can only get a proper sleep under very specific circumstances like his back facing the wall, all possible entryways (door + windows) within his sight, a weapon within reach (a dagger and then later his Vision)

he cannot sleep in a crowded place because more people = more possible threats he need to be wary of, plus he sleeps so lightly that even the smallest noises can wake him up...

honestly even if you ship klk as brothers that's...fine too? it's not like there aren't any precedent across fandoms (w*ncest, osmtcest, th*rki, etc.) and the world haven't collapsed into itself

cultural sensitivity and acknowledgement of the source material as CN and thus it contains CN tropes that cant be transliterated with 100% accuracy into English need to be exercised, of course, but if you like the siblings trope or if you want to make siblings AU you do you?

also any intro to media studies 101 class will tell you that the relationship between fiction and "reality" is multifaceted, complex, and highly contextual ("reality" itself is a charged term) and thus it cannot simply be summarized as "fiction affects/doesn't affect reality"
