#AUT having huge issues breaking #NED first line of pressure: 3v3 (one of the CMs pressing) completely pinning players and unable to get around it.

Sabitzer, who was incredibly dangerous in that left half space is having to drop down to essentially play as a #6.
Just can't stress it enough: Alaba is not a CB for this team.
Some examples of this:
- 3v3 against (i.e. lots of players in the first line) making it difficult to create danger or 2v1s in wide areas that worked so well against Macedonia
- Sabitzer having to vacate halfspaces to get on the ball
- WBs position a hinderance (linked to above) ImageImage
Freeing Alaba up to roam (ideally off the left), manipulates the Netherland's press and allows the two CFs to pin back Dutch CBs, and midfielders to stay higher.

Here is a "cheat sheet" of things to look for when analyzing matches/teams - These are some things to look for: It'll give you a very thorough look at their tendencies with and without the ball, and the various phases within them. ImageImage
Posted this prior, but I can't even look at my own *images* on the old account. C'est la vie.
To continue off on this: Hopefully using this kind of thing will help you (if you want to get into football analysis as a job/hobby/etc.) develop a keen eye on what to keep an eye on.

A lot is happening at the same time in football, so knowing what to look for helps a ton.
