1/To get drinking water, citizens of this W VA county have to collect contaminated runoff from the rock face of a mountain or buy bottled water.

2/Is this emerging third-world hell-hole really America? This is the road the corporations and libertarians like Charles Koch and his well-funded activist network are leading us down. How do you like it?

3/Our Founders said American government is a system where government is the servant. It is "of the people, by the people and for the people". When Reagan said in sweeping fashion that "government is the problem" he was saying the problem = the American people.

4/What Reagan was saying, what Ayn Rand Institute, Heritage, Cato, ALEC, Trump, McConnell, Koch, Fox News, Daily Caller and hundreds more of their ilk are saying is that you, not them, are the problem. They are the ones with the issues and are projecting.

5/The end goal -- to dismantle regulatory protection of, by and for the people. To defund the commons making it decrepit and cheap to buy up then use as a system to collect infinitely increased charges with no quality, rate, or fairness oversight and riches for themselves.

6/To do this they need to make your vote not count so you will give up voting; they need to convince you that the "free market" of rich and corporations will run things -- govern -- better than we the people ourselves. All of modern human history proves otherwise.

7/In reality an unregulated "free market" of people protected behind corporate veils becomes a license for them the minority to freely harm and exploit we the people, the majority who have been led to think in their interest and not ours.

8/If they cared about you they would not be dumping toxic waste into your air, oceans, rivers, streams, leaving it to you to clean up. They would not be passing anti-voting laws. They would not be filibustering your legislation and defunding/destroying your services like the PO.

9/Under our government of the people and for the people, everyone counts. Under their system the government protects the rights and liberties of the few, enabling them to exploit the many.

10/Thomas Jefferson warned about this back in the beginning of our nation. He saw that the same kinds of kleptocrats who had left the colonists no choice but the American Revolution don't change. They are around today, more than ever before.

11/Remember these words ... we did not choose this problem but we are all called to face it and meet this challenge of our age.
