NFT projects with commercial rights to characters = decentralized Disney.
Most creative industries have been firehosed with crypto FUD, but will soon realize that it's simply a scared gatekeeper narrative.

Creativity plus code as law means creative output aligned economic upside in perpetuity, without paying an enormous tax to Gatekeeper Inc.
The "distribution flippening" has already happened in many industries, and is not far off in others.

Individual YouTubers have bigger audiences than many cable networks at this point.

Ownership paired with the "creative liquidity" of the internet is a ridiculous advantage.
This is one of the bigger puzzle pieces in "the creator economy" in my view.

Your unique brand of creativity applied to a huge content franchise that you own upside in.

You don't have to build a one of one business (or work for one) to win anymore.
Why doesn't this already exist/couldn't you build this with fiat infrastructure?

Because intermediaries would kill it before it existed.

Try and run a creative experiment in a Fortune 500 company (I have tried hundreds of times).

Global, 24/7 markets for creativity will win.

Buy the business, not the product.

The promise of web3/BitClout/tokenization etc.

How it plays out for something like @visualizevalue:

Instead of exchanging $ for product, you can hold x amount of "creator coin" to receive access to all products (and participate in upside)
You get the same access, and your economic incentives are aligned long term.

You're not a customer, you're an investor.
Friction drops to zero, which of course means high variability in outcome in both directions.

Memes compress narratives so they can travel further and faster.

Moore’s law for communication.
Most confine their definition of “meme” to a captioned image.

Anything *can* be a meme, but it’s only the act of repetition that makes a meme.

The biggest memes are not visual at all.

Memes as narrative MVPs.

Remove nuance, achieve maximum velocity.

“MAGA”
The most effective memes harness energy from both supporters and detractors.

Politics is the ultimate example.

5 Principles for the Leveraged Creator:
1/ Build once, sell twice.

Move from selling your time to storing your effort in digital assets that you can sell twice.
2/ Focus = Freedom

The more frequently you interrupt the compound curve, the longer time-freedom will elude you.

The unbundling of central narratives changes the nature of investment decisions dramatically.

Everyone has a unique media diet, and the result is a different view of what the future is going to look like.

Think the @BoredApeYC art is incredible or believe in the power of scarce assets that people can attach their identities to? There’s a bet you can make.

Think the Doge meme is just getting started or @elonmusk is legitimately working on it? There's a bet you can make.
