1/ almost completely blew my entire account. in a few months i must have reached .45 BTC 4 times, and perhaps went back to .2 at least 8. now rekt with .03 BTC. never felt better - finally freed from this obsession of “getting rich quick”. the truth i learned about myself is /

/2 that i am not a particularly lucky person. to get anywhere or accomplish something - i have to work hard and things never just came to me on a silver platter - but had to sweat and earn them. /

/3 cryptos may have changed many peoples lives, many have made life changing money - but for each some of them there must be 100 people who didn’t, lost money - or at least their sanity and their life chasing this get rich quick thing. /

/4 i’m not jealous of anyone who made it, quite the opposite. what i’m mostly happy about is the realisation of who i am and be fine with it. i may not turn 1k into millions in a few months, but maybe with hard and solid work i can still make it. happy hacking people

summary of my journey:
1.feb 2010 paypal froze my account as was selling bots and criminals were paying me with stolen money - options were egold or bitcoin. egold was established and bitcoin, me back then reading 5 things about it and “mm what?” /

2. went for egold. 2011 all my gold seized and FBI sent a nice letter to my parents - nothing happened just lost all of it.
3. 2013 on the train and read BTC valued 1k USD and realise the millions i’d have had i chose bitcoin instead of egold.
4. bought BTC a few times on /

localbitcoins in 2014 for $200 AUD a piece to buy xmas presents for my parents on the darkweb.
5.entered the market june 2017 at mid bull market with 10k AUD.
6. got all in on NEO and went up to 55k USD.
7.during the bear market that followed before BTC started his way to a new/

ATH (18k) sold all my 1005 NEOs at 33$ USD each as was sick of seeing my worth dropping.
8.couple of days after i sold all my positions the crazy epic bull run of end 2017-jan18 started, spent a month in complete rage wanting to kill as everyone was /

making ridiculous money and the bear market at ended literally when i exited it.
9. managed to enter it before it was too late - made some small profit. knowing my 1005 NEO were worth 200k just couple months after i sold them was eating me alive /

10. bull run ends and the 3.7 BTC i had left were put in shit coins and 1.4 of them gambled on bitmex on 100x leverage.
11. long years bear market following btc ATH my worth goes down to .15 BTC and - was happy because at least i could live again as /

i wasn’t staring at charts anymore, made peace with the money i could have but did not make.
12. new bull run of late 2020 starts and of course i got in just too late (dec ‘20 jan 21’ everything went up x3-x5 On BTC pairs). still managed to get from .15 to .45 several times /

13. meanwhile also discover that both the stashes of BNB and LINK i had in 2017 and sold were each also worth ~100k USD
14. march things start to go down and i kept leveraging although with some caution
15. 29 may i had (again) .46 BTC and decide to sell everything for BTC /

fearing to lose as market was going down.
16. couldn’t resist a day and reopened big positions
17. 22 days later i sold just before getting completely liquidated and managed to keep 0.02 BTC.
forgot to add,even after i sold everything in late 2017, if i’d kept the 3.9 BTC i had/

still after missing the epic alt season … still would have had - again - 200k worth in BTC at its avg price of 40k /

Summary:
1. 2010 could gotten paid 5-6k EUR in BTC- instead chose gold got all my assets frozen in egold bust by FBI
2. 2018 could have had 200k alone in NEO.
3. would have not gambled and invested in shit coins after missing ‘18 bull market, in 2020 would still have had 200k. /

4. would have not sold everything late 2017, would still have had in ‘21 200k between LINK and BNB.
5. would i have not re-entered markets in june 21, would have still have .46 BTC.
i guess this is it, my hate not much love story with cryptos.
