Trying to take my mind off stuff, so fuck it here's a thread of my least favorite face of each Thomas character
Thomas had a lot of weird faces. This one I straight up don't like, it doesn't look like Thomas to me
I don't think Edward had a bad face, but they really did this one dirty when they gave it those stupid eyebrows. What emotion is this meant to convey now?
I really don't like Henry's re-cast faces with the smaller eye holes. The worst of the bunch was his sad face, no competition
Gordon had some weird faces too. Never liked this one. It's very plain to me, doesn't really look like the character
James didn't have any bad faces either imo, but this worried face always struck me as not really matching the rest
This is the worst face in the show. Period.
Toby's alternate grinning face looks so dumb to me. That crooked smile makes it look like he had a stroke or something
While this matched the other tired Season 2 faces, this doesn't really look like Duck to me. I could just feel that way because we barely ever saw him wear it though
All of Donald and Douglas' faces are awesome, there is no bad one
I don't know what you call this emotion. Shit face? Idk, it's kinda weird to me. But at least it looks like Oliver
I do not like baby Diesel.
Baby Diesel is not real.
Easily my pick for Bill and Ben. It's like Bill and James had a child together
I don't think Mavis had a bad face either. I guess I would choose her really worried face? Kinda looks like the worried James one above
This looks like a sad theatre mask, not a fan
For Bertie, probably his mad face. But like Duck, I might feel that way only because we never saw him wear it
I refuse to believe Salty is even capable of getting angry, so this is my choice for him
Harvey's grinning face looks pretty dumb with the teeth fully painted in
Cranky looks like a dope without the top teeth painted in. Cranky but Season 2?
I hate all of them
BLEUGHHH
God make it stop make it stop!!!
I can't.... I.. can't.....
Oh thank god, all of Duncan's are pretty good. Least favorite is the triangle mouth face. Looked all right with teeth, but he looks dopey without em
No.

Biggest video production-wise: The Tugs Analysis video
The amount of work and planning with @TheTugsProject that went into this thing is more than anything else I've ever worked on. And I loved every second! Was very happy to give this forgotten show some time in the spotlight
Ok folks, I’ve been trying to make sense of Quarantine 20 using the shot list and photos for reference. Not everything on the shot list aligns perfectly when you put it in order, but I think I’ve mostly figured the episode out. A thread:
Episode opens same as the 15. Star explains the heatwave and how ships with the plague are being quarantined.
Cut to the Star Dock. It’s very clear there was more here that was cut out of the 15. The shot list mentions Big Mac is present here, but perhaps he was removed from filming at the last minute, or he's just off-screen and has no lines. (Scene 2)
I've talked about this with @wrduckdog several times and I want to share this
Gordon is the protagonist of The Railway Series.
He is the only character we follow the ENTIRE journey of throughout the course of the books. In the very first book, he's brand new. He's a hotshot-
-and boastful. And in the last book, he humbly retires.
Gordon's journey is kind of amazing. He starts as a hotshot, his arrogance catches up with him in Off the Rails, and he grows up. We learn his history. We meet his family.
Gordon is also one of the few characters that shares a bond with each main character in some way. He and Thomas used to hate each other and eventually ally, he learns to respect Edward, he has his sibling rivalry with Henry, he tolerates James, he has his laughs with Percy, etc.
In all seriousness though, The Magic Railroad parody was excellent. The continued amount of work and dedication put into this thing for NUMEROUS from everyone is just humbling. Well done @MrConductorFan and all involved, you made quite a piece of art here.
In a lot of ways, this is superior to the actual film despite being a parody. The character development to Diesel 10 and George was so well done and actually added more depth to the story!
