The man in his 60s attended a party at his daughters Hoxton West house in NSW on Saturday night.
He flew to Melbourne on a Jetstar flight JQ523 that departed Sydney 5:30pm on Sunday. The flight landed at Melbourne Airport Tullamarine at 7.05pm at Terminal 4. We don’t yet have confirmation on how many people were on that flight.
He lives alone in an Oakleigh apartment complex. Health authorities are now trying to work out who he may have come into contact with there. He works at the Sandringham dry cleaners - his workplace close contact is now positive.
Greater Sydney, including Central Coast, Shellharbour, Blue Mountains and Wollongong are now red zones. If you’re Victorian coming home that means - you need a permit and when you arrive - 14 days in quarantine.
The dry cleaner, terminal 4 and the flight are now all exposure sites. It’s likely we will get more tomorrow.
There is a memorial to Elvis Presley in Melbourne General Cemetery. It was commissioned in 1977 by the president of Australia's Elvis Presley fan club.
