These scholarships are intended to encourage and support doctoral study (PhD) at Victoria University of Wellington.
Closing Date(s): Three rounds each year closing 1 March, 1 July and 1 November.
Tenure: Scholarships will normally be tenable for three years. For a student who has already been enrolled for a Doctorate at Victoria University of Wellington for
more than six months at the time when the offer of a Scholarship is made, the maximum length of tenure of the Scholarship will be reduced at the discretion of the Victoria University Research Scholarships Committee.
Number offered: Approximately 110 per year.

My undergrad was in a different field so the research was very different from what I am doing now. Who should write my letters of recommendation?
Given you have two (with an option of three) letters, it would be good to include a letter from one person who
can speak about your current research and one person who has known you longer, even if it may not be in your current research area. The longer-term perspective is definitely important and valuable.

The DRP through the School of Graduate Studies, KNUST is pleased to announce availability of scholarships. All applicants are encouraged to indicate on the fee-paying forms their willingness or otherwise to be enrolled as self-financing students with
with alternative means of sponsorship in case they do not qualify for scholarship.
Scholarship-holding PhD fellows will receive a monthly stipend to cover accommodation and other expenses for the duration of the programme.
For applicants from Sub-Saharan African countries with an excellent academic record the DRD offers a limited number of DAAD merit scholarships per year.

Scholarships include monthly allowances of 650 Euro plus travel allowances for Master candidates and 900 Euro plus travel allowances for PhD candidates. Tuition and registration fees are covered by the Scholarship Programme.
DAAD Scholarship for Master of Science in International Health

Candidates from developing countries with at least two years of work experience (obtained after completion of the first degree or first professional qualification) and a
Bachelor's Degree with honours (240ECTS/4 years) or equivalent are eligible for a DAAD scholarship (German Academic Exchange Service).
DAAD scholarship holders follow a study track with limited flexibility, which consists of:
