Despite Pakistan attained 26 points out of 27 it still remains on grey list.
A thread..
1) Waseem Abbasi an investigative journalist asked FATF President Marcus Pleyer, "If Pakistan is being scrutinized for terror financing, then what is the plan for India to stop nuclear proliferation amid recent Uranium leaks in Indian markets?"
In response to this the President FATF acknowledged that he was aware of the media reports about this incident of Uranium leaks but he refused to comment.
2) On the question of progress of Mutual Evaluation Report (MUR) for India that was pending since February 2021 because of covid 19. FATF President explained that for all countries and India the schedule for Mutual Evaluations had been postponed....
Yet for Pakistan the reports were released by FATF in February amidst the pandemic but not for India.
3) The US department of Treasury's Watchdogs (FinCEN) has released a revelatory reports exposed India's financial malversation and illegalities as at least 44 Indian banks are involved in Money Laundering of $1.53 billion through 3,201 suspicious transactions.
4) Pakistan has irrefutable evidence of Indians links to terrorism on Pakistani soil. India has funded terrorists organisations 22 billion rupees over the past three years for terrorism in Pakistan.
5) Pakistan have same points on FATF grey list as Korea and Lithuania.
6) Pakistan has better complaint & non-complaint points than America.
Complaint points
Pakistan= 24
America= 22
Non-complaint points
Pakistan=2
America=4
7) Each year between $500 billion and a trillion dollars of laundered money is generated through international banks and financial institutions. Its is estimated that half of this laundered money conducted through thee banks in USA.
8) $1.7 Trillion dollars money laundered by America and England in 2020.
FATF has never questioned the countries where money has been laundered like America, England & France.
9) America and England meets only 31% of the tasks but are on white list. Whereas Pakistan has ....
26 out of 27 points which is more than 98% but is on grey list.
Due to several Geopolitical reasons is paying the price for bias for itself. Even Afghanistan is on white list despite having money laundering and terrorism.
