Bret Weinstein's podcast getting a shoutout from RFK Jr is just perfect
these are the paper authors cited by Robert Malone.
Robert Malone was the only MD on Bret Weinstein's podcast panel, and these are his sources @RWMaloneMD
Robert Malone seems to be particularly impressed by an alt medicine quack, a guy that thinks paleo cures cancer, and a guy that is really impressed with his ability to force open luggage locks
recall Bret Weinstein and his brother Eric Weinstein believe that peer review is an 'autoimmune disease'
Harvard tried to steal Eric's PhD, pension, parent benefits
& he found Seiberg–Witten first
& his wife solved econ
& he solved physics
& feedback was Greider plot to end Bret
& Building 7 is inexplicable
& Pfizer will kill you
or... the Weinsteins are just dumb assholes
here is Eric Weinstein sharing some Building 7 conspiracy theory
here is Eric Weinstein trying to imply that he predicted the housing crash, when in reality he wrote an extremely boring paper talking about how certain securities could be expected to pay due to the volatility's inherent link to rewards
in 2009, PZ Myers called vaccines 'settled science' and called Bill Maher 'ignorant'
Bret Weinstein called PZ Myers 'smug' and referred to his position as 'weak'.
Has Bret Weinstein been antivax all this time?
Bret Weinstein just isn't good at making any sense at all
"we don't know much about this at all, except that it's definitely all about fucking and also that perfumes, like, definitely completely ruin the whole purpose of the thing that it most definitely does"
wait, you're telling me that a paper that had this guy as a primary author was RETRACTED?
yes, that's exactly what i'm saying 😂😂😂😂😂
don't bet against me
let the record show that @RWMaloneMD didn't even need to read the paper, all he needed to do was check Walach's wikipedia page to find out that the primary author is a total fucking goofball.
imagine having Robert Malone as your family's physician. what a fucking nightmare!
Walach also published an article in JAMA saying that masks give kids hypercapnia.
any wagers on when this paper will also be retracted?
- saying 'a cabal' is pushing vaccines
- saying Israeli authorities are changing data to make vaccines look good
- endorsing the retracted Walach study, calling it 'conservative' and suggesting we kill 2 kids to save 3 old people
Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying:
- will tell you that ivermectin works, but cannot tell you why they don't believe the same about hydroxychloroquine
- will tell you that the mRNA vaccines are scary, but cannot tell you why they haven't just taken the J&J shot
Bret Weinstein & Heather talk paper retraction
Instead of discussing their errors, Walach's errors or Walach's history, they:
- say retractions are sometimes political
- question history of journal itself
- question peers that should have caught it
- complain about mean people
Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying looked at a paper, read aloud the conclusion that mRNA vaccines were going to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans, and then when proved wrong they lash out at critics and the journal itself instead of addressing their own credulity
Walach is a nutjob.
Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying are nutjobs.
When faced with their inability to detect a nutjob, they get mad at third parties they expect to be protecting them from all the nutjobs.
take some fucking responsibility
if you want to say Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying made an honest mistake, please just skim Walach paper, then look up his name, & then look up the co-authors & their supposed relevant experience.
it will take you two minutes.
Ask yourself, why didn't Bret have two minutes?
if you are a real Bret Weinstein fan, you're going to say 'just because Walach is a loon, it doesn't mean he was wrong! He could be Galileo'.
Not the point. Walach being a loon should have given Bret pause, instead of irresponsibly livestreaming the fucking paper.
Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying demonstrated absolutely no intention to read the Walach paper or revisit the paper, they only issued a retraction because enough people gave them shit on twitter. They cannot be trusted to follow up.
if Bret Weinstein & Heather Heying didn't spend the two minutes of bullshit detection necessary before going live, what makes you think they were going to spend an entire evening reading paragraphs of that very same document?
if you believe this shit... you're beyond hope

the funniest thing about these weird dudes that think COVID is mass hysteria is that they always have a quarter of their assets in bitcoin
yeah so you spent two months salary on an NFT of a monkey cartoon and you're telling me that people have psychologically primed by mass media to believe stupid things?
tell me more
it's also crazy how people that get ALL their news from Telegram are always able to tell you the names of 6 CNN anchors and they have extremely strong feelings about all of them
Republican conspiracy theories get dumber every day
i think Republicans are excited about Omicron being weaker because they want to defeat the virus in the 'natural' extremely heterosexual way but a part of them also does not want to get sick or die
in a year or two there will be Republicans at tailgate parties and they will be quizzing each other about which variant they got and anyone that admits they first got covid in 2022 will be called a gay pussy omicron lover
i haven't talked about this much because i know there is going to be a handful of people that are extremely upset but i think NFTs are a fucking scam and the majority of crypto in general is a scam
NFTs and bitcoin are valuable just because there's such a huge fandom that believes they are valuable.
they are basically furry cosplay. you can't say the costumes aren't valuable as long as there exists 1 horny person that is ready to buy them
the big risk with NFTs and crypto is there is nothing stopping a major departure from the existing paradigms.
maybe everyone wants to cosplay squirrels this year, but maybe next year zebras are super popular. there's nothing stopping a massive loss of faith in the network
what is disappointing about Peter Thiel is that he has these Mark Zuckerberg aspie mannerisms and pedantic points to make but they are extremely derivative and he doesn't bother to follow up with the specificity I expect from a guy that literally owns companies like Palantir
i often get replies from people that think i'm undeniably on the left and it makes me die a little inside which is good because it reminds me that i have some more alive left
i was shitposting while you were just a match based on a bottle of wine and a bunch of lies
all i really want to do in life right now is to not eat horse paste and not feel sorry for myself
this doesn't make me a liberal or a leftist it just makes me someone that doesn't piss their pants about getting a vaccine
while this is true, it's also true there are a lot of people that don't give a fuck about college sports generally. so why waste political capital on inclusion in an activity that doesn't matter in the first place? the argument seems circular
it seems to me that aspects of transgender people in sports is a zero sum political game - people join competitive sports to win. Trans ppl want to win, and cis ppl want to win, and making the field of opponents smaller always makes winning more likely
people are sold this idea that winning a title within some age, gender, geographic and academic grouping is deeply meaningful and then told that they shouldn't gatekeep because it really doesn't matter except when it does
