while this is true, it's also true there are a lot of people that don't give a fuck about college sports generally. so why waste political capital on inclusion in an activity that doesn't matter in the first place? the argument seems circular it seems to me that aspects of transgender people in sports is a zero sum political game - people join competitive sports to win. Trans ppl want to win, and cis ppl want to win, and making the field of opponents smaller always makes winning more likely
