the document talking about PCR cycle threshold is talking about specimen quality in general, for shipping purposes, and not seeking to redefine what a positive case is cdc.gov/vaccines/covid…

let's put this together.

if you test positive at PCR cycle threshold of ~30, you are a positive case. you get reported as such by most labs, the lab will tell you you're positive, no matter what.

if you are > 14 days of last dose, you're also a breakthrough case.

end of story.

now, whether or not the CDC at the federal level literally wants to be shipped a swab of your nose to look for variant lineage or other factors about a breakthrough case - this is another story entirely.

CDC does NOT need a swab of an asymptomatic vaxed person tested in routine (like trying to get on a cruise ship) that came back positive after a high cycle.

why? all data says they are NOT going to die, they just need to self isolate for a few days, so stop freaking out

Bret Weinstein, Heying & other conspiracy loons want it both ways - they want the CDC to chill about reporting unvaxxed possibly-soon-to-be-infectious people testing positive after 35 cycles, yet also freak out & do weeks long investigations of any similar cycle breakthrough case

but remember the kicker here - end of the day, if you get swabbed, labs do not care if you've been vaxxed, there is no flowchart that says "IF SUBJECT VACCINATED, THEN CHANGE WHAT YOU REPORT TO THEM" - there's no evidence the mechanics of local lab testing has changed at all

Heather Heying could have phoned her local lab in Portland, or the CDC lab in Georgia that is asking for specific specimens. She could have asked clarifying questions & then learned that she can't fucking read.

the absolutely morbid, heartless thing about Heather Heying and the other intellectual dork web people is that there are people dying today - right this moment - and the vast majority of them are unvaccinated. the deathbed denials are happening right now.

think about how unbelievably cowardly and fucked in the head you need to be to believe you've uncovered a lab testing conspiracy in a published PDF but then you don't even bother to call the number on the form, you just immediately take that shit to your Patreon following
