A normal company would’ve given Weisselberg a raise to enable him to pay for his own lifestyle and his own taxes, reported it, and deducted the business expense. And a normal CFO would’ve insisted on that.

Bessemer Trust's petition to resign as Britney Spears' co-conservator, the day after they were formally appointed. drive.google.com/file/d/1O6fv4X…
In a declaration, a Managing Director at Bessemer says he was contacted by Spears' court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham. It gets a little fuzzy after that, but he indicates someone represented to him that the conservatorship was voluntary.
Another interesting attachment--an image of a document purporting to be signed by Britney Spears herself. Bring out the handwriting experts.
First case today is Brnovich. The AZ law is found not to violate Section 2 of the VRA or have been enacted with discriminatory intent. As feared, Alito has the 6-3 opinion; Kagan dissents for the liberals. supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf…
From the dissent:
Second case today, and the last of the term, is donor disclosure. It also comes out bad for the liberals, reversing the 9th Circuit. Chief Justice Roberts has the bulk of the complex opinion, and Sotomayor dissents for all three liberal justices. supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf…
worst twitter of them all is when your timeline is filled with tweets about the unconfirmed death of someone meaningful to you from accounts you’ve never heard of before
It’s like ‘hm squicknpuff has matched the reporting of deezcashshoes and they’ve been aggregated by rapfacts, do I go with it?’
Revolt has 404’d the absolutely shit story they put up, fwiw.
One problem here, as I read the opinion, is in “he did.” Cosby’s detrimental reliance is a completely invented fact that’s inconsistent with the trial court’s findings (which are otherwise found by the PA Supreme Court to be well supported by evidence).
An important thing to know about this “agreement” is there is no agreement. Cosby didn’t sign it or agree to anything. The only document that exists is a press release from the DA.
“Can a 501(c)(3) charity fund a public-private partnership military expedition by state national guard troops to a distant national border in order to embarrass the sitting president?” might be the worst exempt organizations exam question of all time.
