#taejinau where boyfriends Jin, a renowned and experienced player with a career grand slam under his belt, and Taehyung, a passionate but so far not really successful tennis player, are completing in the W/imbledon final.

To say that Tae is nervous is an understatement. It's the first time him and his boyfriend will be playing against each other in an official setting and Tae feels like he lost a crucial pillar for his usually confident public persona.

He can't help but feel like the advantage of knowing Jin's play style the best in the entire world will not help him in any way, shape or form. Why? Cause it's the first time Jin isn't with him but /against/ him.

And the fact that for him no matter if he wins or his boyfriend will be a great outcome makes things even more confusing. Don't get him wrong. He wants to win. He's been playing tennis his whole life, never getting past 3rd round in any grand slam tournament.

And now when, finally, came the time for his big break, he feels really lost without the support the love of his life always provided. There's no good luck kiss, no 'I believe in you' before he comes on the court. They're both in different rooms, trying to concentrate.

Taehyung is sipping on his water, trying to keep his tapping foot under control when someone from the staff comes and reminds him about the the time left for the match to start. He nods in confirmation, whispers a quiet thank you and starts to get ready.

He's about to grab his bag when he hears his phone buzz. Tae sighs and takes out his phone with an intention to completely turn it off, when he notices that Jin has sent him a text.

'I love you baby! You're a winner in my heart already. Fighting!💕'

The younger man grins to himself and blushes. He's glad he's alone in the room so no-one will be to witness him getting flustered over a simple text message. He quickly turns off the phone, puts it back into the bag, slings the bag over his shoulder and heads out of the room.

He arrives on the court, drops his bag on the seats and starts warming up. The cheers in the audience make him look up just in time to see his boyfriend enter and with a charming smile greet the crowd.

Jin quickly notices Tae looking at him and turns his head to him. His smile quickly changes from charming to reassuring and Taehyung can't help but grin back at him. The referee gets calls them both to the net.

They meet in the middle of the court, the referee throws a coin, they choose sides and Tae gets the first serve. They begin the warm up. After a couple of minutes the referee announces the end of warm up. Crowd goes quiet and the match starts.

Taehyung starts the match by serving outside the bounds twice and loses the point. It's just the beginning but he's already feeling like a failure. That mentality makes him lose 3 gems, mostly due to his own mistakes.

He can feel Jin's worried stare on him when he grabs the towel and roughly wipes his face from sweat. He feels pathetic about his own performance. How is he supposed to win 3 sets when he can barely score a point in a gem?

He gets angry at himself and in that angry state finally wins his first gem. It seems like that was the adrenaline kick he needed because after that something finally clicked in him and he started playing on his usual level.

He lost the first set but that's alright, he didn't expect an easy game. Especially not when someone as good as his Seokjin is on the other side of the net.

He wins the second and third set, Jin wins the fourth one. After his small slip up in the beginning, he had full control in his hands. The confidence in his step was back.

They're both playing so well until the very end that the match has to end in a tie-break. They're both exhausted, they've been on the court for around 4 hours already.

But they keep playing until the last ball touches the ground twice and the crowd goes wild. Referee announces the end of the match and Taehyung just stands there in disbelief. His mouth wide open, the racket slips through his fingers and hits the ground.

He did it. He won. And after the realization he runs, jumps through the net and crashes into Jin, his arms already spread wide and ready for the new champion. Seokjin embraces him tightly and cradles Tae's head against his neck.

"I'm so proud of you baby, so fucking proud." Jin whispers against his ear. "You won your first grand slam tournament, I'm so proud."

Taehyung's internal tam breaks and once a tear falls, he can't stop crying.

Seokjin gently separates them and wipes Taehyung's tears while gently trying to shush him.

"I know you're happy Tae but that trophy isn't gonna accept itself." Seokjin says to him and laughs. Tae just nods and blinks rapidly as if to get rid of the tears.

"Ah, look at you baby," he lifts Tae's chin "you were great, so fierce and I'm so proud of you, you have no idea. And I wish we could just stand here and whisper to each other but the referee seems to be an impatient person." he complains with a crease in between his brows.

Taehyung laughs, grabs Seokjin's cheeks between his hands and kisses him passionately while the audience cheers even louder when they notice the rivals sharing a kiss.

He quickly parts from his boyfriend and with a boxy smile walks up to the not amused referee. The whole scene could not have lasted longer than 3 minutes but the referee still reprimands them both sternly and with a fond smile officially ends the match.

After that they go through the official ceremony and only during the press conference, when one of the journalists asks "So, what's the kiss about?" do they notice what they did.

They both look at each other shocked and burst out laughing at the same moment. They announce they're dating and go down in history as a couple that conquered the tennis world.
