A nation of renters is a nation of serfs
Prediction: once large swathes of the housing market are corporate owned & converted to rental units there will be no rent alleviation for the poor during the next pandemic.
Rent relief during the last pandemic was just a way to drive small landlords out of ownership by depleting their income thus forcing them to sell. Home owners are currently being lured by cash deals roughly 30-50% above ask. Don’t be tricked: don’t sell. cbsnews.com/news/housing-r…
