Kenne Mwikya talks about Israel's ties with "conservative and anti-freedom elements" of Kenya.
People's solidarity lies with the Palestinian people, as both Africans and Palestinians have been under some form colonial oppression through history.
.@Nawajaa : Divestment and boycott campaigns are working. We hope sanctions against Israel will start from Africa, which can then have a rolling effect.
We know the BDS movement is working because Israel is trying to delegitimize and sabotage it but is failing at it.
.@Shokispeare "The GSR called for a resolution to recognize Israel's regime as apartheid and target sanctions including a military embargo
..it is our obligation to guarantee that our governments meet these demands across the African continent"
"We are building the network across the Global South to build coordinated, synchronized & effective action
We want to have all 54 African countries represented at a rally like this next year!" .@Shokispeare
Rev. Kolade "The Palestine situation has called our Christianity into question.
From Kairos Nigeria we are questioning pilgrimage that does not respect human rights, the pilgrimage that is one sided and supports Israeli occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people."
Maureen Kasuku, Kenya "We are bringing feminists across the continent on board with the BDS campaigning.
I hope that the Global South campaign and all African countries can form a formidable BDS movement"

Colombia to replace Israeli-made military aircraft
From Nov 20 - 29, Never Again is Now: we invite you to join the Week for Sanctions to pressure States & the UN to cut all relations of complicity with the genocidal regime of Israel.
On Friday November 8, the Colombian government of @PetroGustavo announced the decision to replace the country’s old fleet of Israeli Kfir aircraft, provided by Israeli Aerospace Industries, citing geopolitical reasons.
@petrogustavo As early as Oct 2023, days into Israel’s genocidal attack in Gaza, President Petro was the first world leader to warn of the “unprecedented rise of fascism, & therefore, to the death of democracy and freedom. … Gaza is just the first experiment in considering us all disposable.”
MAERSK cannot hide its complicity in the US-Israeli genocide against 2.3M Palestinians in Gaza!
As a result of public pressure, Portugal & Morocco stand up against MAERSK’s illegal transfer of military cargo to Israel, to avoid complicity in violating the Genocide Conventions.
Danish shipping giant Maersk has been already forced to change routes, due to what is a growingly effective military embargo led by grassroots and civil society groups.
Yet, no re-routing is able to stop the protests!
When Spanish activists pressured government to revoke the docking permit of the Maersk Denver, possibly carrying US military supplies for Israel’s genocide, at the port of Algeciras, a domino effect of re-routing started.
More than 230 members of the media industry, including over 100 British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) workers, have signed a letter accusing the BBC of pro-Israel bias in its coverage on Gaza.
By largely erasing Palestinian and consciously spreading Israel’s genocidal and deeply racist propaganda, complicit Western mainstream media outlets, like the BBC, play a critical role in enabling Israel's genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in the besieged and occupied Gaza Strip.
Former senior UN official, @CraigMokhiber says:
"The repeated non-critical recitation of false, dehumanizing Israeli propaganda by western media is not sloppy journalism- it is war propaganda and incitement to #genocide for which they must be held accountable as their media counterparts were in the Nuremberg & Rwanda tribunals.”
#BlockTheBoat: The arms ship MV Kathrin reappears in the port of Alexandria, Egypt.
Is Egypt helping to transfer crucial military explosives to Israel’s genocide against the 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza?
The MV Kathrin has been sailing for over two months, shunned by ports in Africa and Europe after Namibia’s authorities discovered the vessel was transporting military explosives for Israel’s genocide and its brutal bombings of Lebanon and other Arab people.
The Portuguese government eventually forced the Kathrin to give up its flag and the vessel had to resort to the flag of Germany, the flagbearer of genocide.
After this journey of refusals, the Kathrin navigated for over a week off radar. Journalists spotted her in Porto Romano, Albania, still carrying what seemed to include the 8 containers of 150,000 kg of RDX explosives for Israeli military industries.
On 28 October, the vessel reappeared docking and unloading on the military berth of the port of Alexandria.
“BDS and boycotts have changed Israel’s global trade landscape,” said Avi Balashnikov, Chairman of the Israel Export Institute. He added, “we fight every day, hour by hour, for Israeli industry abroad. Economic boycotts and BDS organizations present major challenges, and in some countries, we are forced to operate under the radar.”
Warning of Israel’s “downfall” and military “collapse” should the “war of attrition” continue, influential and once Netanyahu-confidant Maj. Gen. Yitzhak Brik has recently said: “Israel's economy, international relations and social cohesiveness are severely damaged by this war.”
Albania is complicit in genocide against the Palestinian people: The ship MV Kathrin, carrying military supplies for Israel, docks and unloads cargo at the Albanian port of Durrës.
We ask Albania: Are the explosives destined for Israeli Military Industries still on the ship? Where are they now?
We condemn Albania for this clear violation of its obligations under international law and call on all people of conscience to put pressure on Albania to do what is right.
