I understand some teams were named after non-animals but then gave themselves a *supplemental animal mascot* but I did not include them.

Yes I have seen the latest renderings of raptors and I think they could do it.

I did not include hornets as I do not think they could all get under the ball and flap their little wings, I am sorry.

I did not include Mavericks. Seemed too many steps removed from the *horse maverick* after I read their wiki. Plus even if they made it, it would have been the lowest level (hoof) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_o…

some have asked if the antlers of a buck could be used and I think yes. (Probably more so than a bull’s horns.)

Congrats to the Bucks on being bumped up the list, and perhaps almost as exciting, being in the nba finals. ❤️
