1. Global warming. For years the earth has been heating up like an oven, entire species have been going extinct, and yet this man says nothing. He could solve it all if he wanted to. Dickhead.

4. He refuses to speak to George. This is the most important topic imo. It’s not that he doesn’t TALK to George it’s just that he refuses to talk about what needs to be said. Because goddamnit, George DESERVES to hear what he has to say.
Dream needs to tell George that every second he isn’t with him, it makes his chest hurt, that he thinks about him constantly, that he’ll forget to eat or sleep because all that’s on his mind is George George George
He needs to praise George about everything, his incredible talent and personality that he so humbly refuses to acknowledge, his perfect hair and face, the freckles that dot his cheeks like stars, the blush that makes any sane man melt
Because that’s all they are, melting like red wax to an orange flame, like paper poetry in a fire pit, like meteors burning in the sun’s heat. Words and love all braided together into a dove used as a sword, something beautiful turned as a tool for mutually assured destruction
It doesn’t matter how many jokes Dream makes or how many smiles or laughs or how many nights he cries himself to sleep at night with George’s name on his tongue and burning in his veins. It’s futile for him to keep loving this way as long as it’s silent.
Dream loves quietly, with gifts and hugs and quality time, and George is blissfully ignorant of bright and burning pinning. Dream cannot keep screaming his feelings to an audience of people online who will never understand what it feels like for him to love so desperately.
Because in his mind, no one understands love in the same way he does. No one hurts so much from something meant to give him so much joy. They cannot understand what it’s like to burn from the inside, to be impossibly happy and still cry every night.
The audience might praise and mash buttons as a form of cheers, but it will never soothe the fire that roars in his chest, and the waterfall of sorrow at the thought of unrequited love. The audience listens, and the author despairs.
This is why I hate Dream. Admit your feelings you stupid fucking plain ass bagel man.
