Technically Asaduddin Owaisi, who descends from Konkanastha/Chitapawn Brahmin family is higher in Marathi Brahmin hierarchy compared to Karad Brahmin, Mohan Bhagwat, but one thing is clear, they literally share same Marathi Brahmin DNA.

Owaisi's UP Muslim vote katua strategy is being made at RSS headquarters in Nagpur and interestingly they are not even hiding their joint AIMIM- RSS collaboration.

Owaisi's RSS push is interesting.

Conquering hearts & minds of 5 crore UP Muslims is dream of any Muslim politician wanting to usurp space of pan-India Muslim leadership.

It also helps RSS to break hold of regional Hindu politicians like Yadavs of UP & Bihar on their Muslims.

Weakning of Mulayam & Lalu Yadav families of UP and Bihar on Muslim voters of their respective states' nearly 7 crore Muslims (equal to population of Iran) is crucial for RSS to break binary of MY (Muslim - Yadav) in these states, which collectuvely decide Prime Minister of India

Every Muslim worth his/her salt in UP knows that Owaisi is a vote katuwa, but the Upper Caste Pathan & Syyed Muslims are weaker link.

Call & lure of common "Ashraf" blood and RSS inducement can wean away a chunk of nearly 5 to 7 million Ashraf Muslim vote of UP towards Owaisi.

This doesn't mean that Owaisi doesn't have his eye on UP's Pasmanda vote, especially Ansaris that dominates Pasmanda votes in East UP.

It was not coincidence that Owaisi first time in his life paid Twitter tribute to Abdul Qayum Ansari, tallest Pasmanda Ansari leader of North.

Lastly,

RSS rather than UP BJP is at forefront of strategy making even as Pahari Thakur Yogi remains adamantly glued to CM chair & Brahmins of UP increasingly drifting away from BJP.

Breaking Muslim vote of SP seems more plausible counter to make up for loss of Brahmin votes.
